it's says it's the wrong file type anyone have?

I copy and paste what is writen in the cfg file.

You can copy it and try to se if its work. Altough this is the 1.4 cfg file.

If this doesn't resolve the problem for you, do you have any mods installed?

Most mods interfere with SH3 update patches because of the mod's changes to SH3 installation files.

Search The Community Manual for "update patches" regarding this and additional information.
