Will there be co-op, Call fo Duty Did not have it and thats what let it down big time. If CoD had Co-Op it would have been an amazing game. And nothing would have come near to comparison with it. But BIA looks cool, And Co-Op would go with it more seeing as its a squad based shooter not an all round FPS.

lol this is what i've been asking in A LOT of threads but never get an answer. i'm pretty sure they wouldn't leave it out though. i sure hope not. you do mean offline co-op like what i'm talking about right?

Co-op is where two people can play through the single-player missions together either over the internet, on one TV, or a LAN or System Link.

I find it very hard to understand these days, when I played Unreal 1 and Quake 2 (i think it was), we could play over the LAN in CO-OP mode...

PCs are much more powerful these days and CO-OP seems to have been omitted from way too many games!! MP is fine and fun from a CLAN point of view, but CO-OP a full/part squad would be nice... I find AI very limited and would love to say to a CLAN member, "get up in that roof with yer sniper!!".... you get the gist

Coop is an MP mode just like DM and TDM is.

@Scorpion_37, you are right, CoD would have been much better if it had a Coop component to it. I think the Kursk mission would have been killer with Coop.

You won't be able to play through single player missions with a buddy. You will, however, be able to play through the task-oriented multiplayer gametypes with a buddy vs. some AI controlled squads. An example of a gametype like that would be capture this position and hold it, while the other sides job would be to prevent you from achieving this. Thats an example, Gearbox hasn't released a lot about the multiplayer portion of the game yet.
