After years of lurking around the forum, I gotta get in here.

Does anyone else find it crazy that you can kill a German soldier and his comrades will just stay put, suppressed, but oblivious to the casualty? Seconds later they've recovered and return fire.

No German runs away? Flips out? Tries to save a life? Surrenders?

I know, I know, realism will ruin the game, etc., etc. Realism MADE this game. It's not like I want to spend a mission babysitting a captured German soldier. I just wonder if there's room for more human chaos in here. People get crazy. Shoot at them and they're bound to get crazier.

Anybody got any thoughts?

they do run away, and they do return fire when supressed

and when there supressed, they can't run away becuz they know they gonna be shot.
And why do people only see the negative side?

i've always wondered this same thing. I guess maybe they didn't find it feesable to put those kind of actions in there. But still if your shooting at the enemy you don't even notice that second that they notice their buddy went down. Like if they notice their friend go down have an action where he notices it firing with one hand trying to keep his friend up and shooting or shoots and takes cover. But once again in our fast paced action they must have went who will sit there and watch a german plead for his life and for you to help his bleeding buddy we normally just kill any enemy we see. Though i would love to see more reaslism.

If you want "realism", in Operation Market Garden German casualties and losses were ~8000 (WIA,MIA,KIA). Aliies have 18000 !!! In realism Allies will surrender, flip out, run away etc...

BiA:HH is awesome, if you want 100% of realism you will lose ~2.25 (2 and 1/4 of man, Allies) to kill* 1 german (KIA,MIA,WIA)*!!!

So it is better how it is in BiA:HH? Yes it is, u can t make 100% real game!!!

if you do remember in road to hill 30 if the germans got too over whelmed they would retreat regroup and find better cover too try and stop you.
