    I'm sure this has been answered before....but my first post so please bare with me please. how do I get my skin to show in the game? I tried to add it in the paintschemes folder but all i get are the ones already in the game. Help please.

    Welcome to the forums.

    Bear with me here.

    I'm assuming here that you mean the only skins you see are the 'Defaults" and "Voids".

    1st, Did you select the skin in the "Arming" menu?

    2nd, Did you put the skin in the appropriate skin folder? You can't just dump them into the "Paintschemes" folder and expect them to sort themselves.

    3rd, Are they the correct size? 1024 X 1024 pixels or 512 X 512 pixels and 1 Mb in size? If not, they won't show.


    Other than that I don't have a clue. They should show up in game.
    A positive at***ude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

    If you've created your own skin, you need to make sure it's using 8-bit color (256 colors). Otherwise, the game can't use it. Either reduce the color depth in your skinning program or use a program called "Bright", which does a much better and faster job than anything else I've seen.
