Anyone have a method that they use to keep the bloody gunsite still long enough to hit something.
I have used precession and have my curves as low as reasonable but the damn thing still floats around

Had same problem here - my solution

    (MS FFB2 stick).

I reprogrammed button 3 to do following:

centers TIR, then toggles TIR on/off

When dogfighting, I hit 3 before opening fire and then hit it again to unlock the view.

    Works well

Make a big deadzone in the middle. That will make a huge difference. Adjust smoothing to your liking.
I have emailed you my TrackIR4 profile, Raven.

it almost sounds like its not working correctly. i hate deadzone and made all my axis with 30 smoothing. either way, if your head is still it shouldn't jump or move.

i programmed a button to recenter, but the view is always stable. when i try to picture the "floating around" i think something is wrong. make sure nothing behind you is reflecting light and throwing off tir4.
