thanks for reply, I have tried it on a different tv and it still is bad. I have tried with another lead to tv and that does not help. When i first loaded the game and it updated the x-box the settings were wrong for the tv i dont know if that would do it, if it does then i supose i will have lose all my games etc and delete it all and reinstall but i am not sure that would help. The problem is when the writing etc comes up on the screen it is not readable it is only the text and numbers that is the problem, but it stops me from reading all the info. I have tried it in different formate sizes on the screen and still no joy, is it like it on sets or is it a problem on mine?

I agree, the resolution is very bad. I can't read anything clearly. The words are very blurry.

A LCD actually, make sure if you get a hd tv you hook it up with a hd cord, I know HDMI is best for ps3 but not whats best for xbox, otherwise it will still be blurry if you use a lesser quality cable.

I am actually using an old school Panasonic tv. It isn't LCD, plasma, or rear projection, just regular. I can barely read what the writing says. It looks terrible.

mine is on a philips tv and yes its crap when it comes the text on end war, but fine on everthing ellse. I dont see why an lcd display is so much beter but thats what i have on my main computer. Thanks for your input though and it sounds like its the tv that is at fault, I did wonder if i could alter the refresh rate on it

You just need a better tv, it all has to do with the amount of pixels that fit on the screen, HD tvs have higher number per the space then older box sets, this game outputs at a max of 720p resolution, but I believe 1080p is the highest on the market.
