Smok bombs not working | Forums

Is anyone else having this problem? My smoke bombs are very often not firing. I have the icon and I hit left bumper and nothing happens. I then get killed. After I respawn, my smoke is on cooldown. This is now starting to cost me wins and higher scores.

a lot of times it will be on cooldown but its invisible, might be whats happening to you.

This. It's a regular event that my Charge doesn't work. No abilities, I run at them and get killed. Ubisoft's henchmen must of kicked a wire in the server.

Yeah, it was pretty bad for me today, too. I like playing sessions of a few hours... but today, I sort of gave up after four terrible matches. Lag, spawning in front of pursuers, absence of whispers, abilitie not working... sigh.

I remember when my abilities would finish cooldown and I would no longer be able to activate them.

It would just say 'This ability isn't ready yet' or better yet, nothing at all. It would just make the sound you would get when trying to activate an ability on cooldown.

It usually lasted until I died and respawned. I don't know if anyone else has had that....

My abilities fail on a regular basis but I figured that when charge doesnt work its because my pursuer is using his butter perk which I dont have. Or maybe when my smoke doesnt work my pursuer is using their gasmask perk which, again, I dont seem to have. Or when mute doesnt work my pursuer is using their invisible forcefield perk which, Im sorry, but I dont seem to have. or when I use sprint boost and get caught its because my pursuer is using their super sprint boost to catch me which I dont have either. I guess theres a counter to every ability I just dont have those counters yet.

Mute doesn't work often either, at least for me. I find it a bit suspicious that it's supposed to keep my opponent from using abilities, yet when I use it they can still use Smoke Bomb? Also, on Manhunt defense, if I use it when running at my pursuer, out of their kill range but in my Mute range, I still get killed.

heres a tip be like me and not use smoke bomb or mute or charge on manhunt defense or 1v1 defense i use morph and another abilitys thats not smoke mute and charge.
