Just saw this item on my Canadian news site. A Canadian woman has apparently been swept overboard from a sail training vessel. The war may be over, but the oceans still claims lives: Story link

Yes the seas are still as dangerous as they always had been.

Why i have painted my plane red ? It would be unfair if they couldnt recognize that it is me who they are up against.
Everytime i shoot down a brit my hunting instinct is satisfied for another 15 minutes.

Just saw on TSN that the woman missing is the daughter of Bob Gainey, the GM and vice-president of the Montreal Canadiens
There is no happy ending to this story. Both the Picton Castle, the ship from which she fell, and the US Coast Guard have called off their searches. Too much time has passed so there is no hope of finding her alive. This is another family tragedy for Bob Gainey, who lost his wife at the age of 39 and now his daughter.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Yes, ....The Sea has no mercy.
I have worked "On The water":
I have also been on several cruises, .....but unlike others enjoying the "party" atmosphere, somehow I could never forget that it was only the Whim of the Gods that allowed us to enjoy ourselves:
At Sea, things can change in a heartbeat.
