The Crew managment during high time compression doesnt work at all!

The endurance bar doesnt work over 32x time compression. first i thought it was only during storms but now i have made a couple of tests and i can confirm it. All the endurance works very fine up to 32x. Everything over that makes the endurance freeze. The tired man do not rest and the fresh man do not get tired.

You can go for a week at 1024x time compression across the atlantic without ever changing the crew and they wont get tired. The downside is your tired man do not rest during that time too.

    Its version 1.1

Um... have you read the recent message from the Dev Team?

That's been done on purpose so you don't have to babysit your crew during long transits all the time! It's a Very Good Thing!

I think a lot of things aren't going to work at faster time rates such as the one you just described! It's not a bug... It's just a way for you to not have to manage things at that speed! Besides playing at fast time rates takes half the fun out of this sim IMHO!

if u WANT it to work at high speeds (i dont know why, the micro maangemtn would be insane if u are crossing the atlantic for example)

then open the Main.cfg file in My Documents/Sh3/cfg

in there is a header [Time Compression] and a number of settings... If you set 3dRender=32 to 3dRender=1024 then in external view you can time accelerate to 1024 but also the crew management stays active at high speed.

Why dont the crew retire when their shift is over? and why dont the lazy bastards in the bunks remember they are not on summer vaction?.

Im the Capt'n of a Uboat not their mother.

I expect to crew manage in strenuous situations but not day to day unless someone is sick or an accident happens.

Why cant I just set up a roster that these idiots follow - my crew are a bunch of 5 YO spoilt brats.

Yeah. I agree. I dont like having to micromanage the crew..seems like something an officer or petty officer could do for me. I like having the ability to make personal changes as you would be able to but micromanaging it should be handled by the AI (or at least give me a options setting)....I think.

Their SHOULD be a ROSTER that the crew follows unless there is Sickness, Accident, Battle stations, emergency repairs etc that would interupt normal day to day operation.

In these cases the Capt'n should be directly involved with crew management but otherwise it should be plain sailing.
