Unlocking Authentic mode | Forums

i beat the game on normal to get used to it and then i beat it on difficult...both were fairly easy, so i was looking forward to authentic mode. i selected the first level but authentic difficulty was not unlocked. i check to make sure i had a silver star in every level and i did...except for the final cinematic which didnt(which was weird because it wasnt a playable level yet it still unlocked authentic mode). how the hell am i supposed to get authentic mode? i know at one point in the game i had chose a level instead of hitting continue in the main menu, but i dont think that would effect me getting authentic difficulty. someone please help cause i really wanna beat this game on authentic and unlock all the extras that i havent yet.

Make sure you have done every level on Hard and got the silver star, even on the levels that are not playable. I unlock authentic no probs.

Floydhead,
If you go to the last level/cinematic and select the hard difficulty and let it play through - including the credits - the game will unlock Authentic.
(and if you do the same thing with Authentic you get supersquads)

JUst beat it on easy. Then select the last level and let it play on the normal difficulty, ten difficult and then authentic and you will get every cheat without having to play every level.. stupid actualy but it works for those who need a supersquad I think.

play all the movie levels too, including the first and last on difficult

If none of those work. Create a profile name.. bakersdozen then boom. You have everything unlocked.
