Thread: Who else is importing PoP PS3 3D/HD Trilogy? | Forums

  1. #1
First off, I have to say I'm really ticked about Ubisoft not releasing it in US when every other game got released and this is a perfect time to release it since the Sands of Time movie got released on Blu-Ray (which I bought on day one). I've already ordered the trilogy on ebay, I hope an iceberg doesn't hit the plane on the way over and cost me the 50 bucks I spent on importing the game. -_-.

Thank Sony that the PS3 is free region. =D

When an iceberg hits a plane you have problems no amount of money will fix. Let's certainly hope THAT doesn't happen.

Certainly, whatever the reason for not bringing it over, lack of interest is not one of them.

nope... i prefer to buy US games, just in case of dlc. they don't work unless your game is for the appropriate region i believe.

Not like the PoP 3D/HD Trilogy will have DLC

Probably not, but then again, they've done some rather perplexing things in the past. Probably better safe than sorry.

pretty much... besides, you're more likely gonna get the help and service you need with a defective product (assuming it doesn't live up to expectations) if you bought it in the country you live in, rather than through importing. also, hypothetically, if it DOES get released here, you just paid a heck of a lot of money to get an imported product that you could have waited and bought for cheaper.

Thats the reason why I have 4 PSN Accounts: Germany, United States, United Kingdom, Japan.

I'm not sure if I will import it though. I could import it for 25 Pounds but then I would have to wait at least a week until it arrives. I think that I can get for 40€ if I buy it in a store. So maybe I will just buy it next saturday.

This is a problem I don't have: When I import games they are ALWAYS cheaper than in a store in germany. The normal price for new console games here is 60€.

That's the price for mostly everywhere for a new game. Here it can go from 50€ to 90€.
If I remember correctly the new Castlevania is being sold at 90€.

THe games I buy online are always 30€ - 40€.

In the stores here 80€ - 90€ is the normal price for a CE of a game.

I'll probably just treat myself to it at some point. I might even try to sneak it into a christmas present

To be fair, £25 (almost half the price of a newly released game) is a great price to have all of my Sands of Time games on one disc.
