Thread: Sudden freezes and landscape graphic errors (Nvidia Ti4200) | Forums

    Since a have started playing FB+AEP+PF again with the new patch (absolutely amazing BTW), I have been experiencing some unwelcome temporary gameplay freezes (often at very inconvenient times)and some graphic errors in the landscape. During flight, as I look down on the landscape, I notice little flickers, corruptions, and warping (I wish I knew how to take screenshots, I'm sorry) as I fly over the land, which have me very worried.

    I have a Geforce Ti4200 128Mb clocked to 310 Core and 567 Memory (45.23 drivers). I run with a 1.6Ghz CPU. I get an average of 30-35 FPS, and I run it with 4x AA and 8x AF.

    I am almost positive these errors have something to do with my Open GL settings, so I will post my OpenGL conf. settings here. If anyone has any suggestions as to my settings, I would be more than glad to adjust them accordingly.

    Try this first but also try a newer driver from the forceware series 71.xx
    Also bring you clock speed on the gpu back to standard to get stable then try oc again.

    Also post you exact patch sequence, there's been alot of mispatching going around.

    Thanks alot! The graphic corruptions in the landscape are gone as are the freezes. I'll try the newer drivers as well. I have also noticed a slight increase in FPS.
