There's six new gadgets shown in a video on gamevideos.com

1 A Sonic Grenade. I don't know what it does, but it is not the same as a Flash Grenade as they were also shown, so there's no point in having two grenades which do the same thing.

2 Another is a Wallmine with two '+' signs next to it. It is not a normal wallmine, but I don't know what it does.

3 Another wallmine, but with only one '+' next to it. Note: Normal wallmines are also there. That makes a total of three types of wall mines?

4 A gas grenade, not a smoke grenade, that isn't shot out of the SC-20K Launcher. It is thrown like a normal grenade

5 Another is an EMP grenade. Obviously, does the same thing as the OCP, but can take out several electronic things at a time.

6 Another was an Ultrasonic Transmitter. It seems to shoot something which makes a high-pitched whistle when it hits a wall. It's the same as whistling: to lure some to a position; but it attracts enemies to where it hits, not towards Sam.
The Ultrasonic transmitter seems to be attached to a pistol, and it reacharges just like the OCP.

I have a link - but you need to look for the "See full-size version" link to see the HUD properly, because the only new gadget Sam uses is the Ultrasonic thingy. So, you need to pause and read the HUD.

No, the smoke grenade makes smoke, the gas grenade makes gas. Smoke obscures vision and gas knocks out, remember?

I LOVE new gadgets. Of course, you may or may not get them depending on your gameplay and trust levels. Can anyone say "replay value"?
