Includes 7 online coop missions, and 1 single player mini-campaign equivalent.
The single player, linear, 7 mission, historical campaign is set after "Operation Forager" had been underway, but was still young. It focuses on some of the U.S. Naval events of June 19th and 20th, 1944, specifically "The Great Marianas Turkey Shoot" and "The Battle of the Philippine Sea" as the pilot sails with the airmen of Admiral Marc Mitscher's Task Force 58.
A Single Player Campaign for the P-47. Set in Europe during 1944-1945. This is a 20 mission Campaign. History: February 10th, 1943 The 361st Fighter Group "Yellow Jackets" was activated at Richmond Army Air Base, Virginia. The fighter group was composed of three squadrons. The 374th, 375th, and 376th. The group was equipped with Republic P-47 Thunderbolts, then later as the war progressed P-51 Mustangs. The group trained in the states, and then in January 1944 the group was assigned to airfields in England.
Author: D Humphrey.
A Mosquito Campaign based on the fictional 633 Squadron from the films 633 Squadron and Mosquito Squadron. These are in non-historical, however they are similar in feel to many of the missions the Multi-Role DeHaviland Mosquito IV Fighter-Bomber did take part in.
9th FS 49th FG 25 mission campaign - New Guinea: May 1943 - March 1944:
This campaign allows you to fly the missions flown by the 9th Fighter Squadron, 49th Fighter Group over New Guinea from May 1943 through to March 1944. You will fly the P38, and later the P47, on escort, CAP, ground attack and intercept missions against the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force and the Japanese Army Air Force.
This 48 mission career spans the whole of Italy's involvement in the 2nd world war and allows you to fly the CR42, G50, MC200, 202, 205 and BF109G against the allies in North Africa, Greece and in Italy itself.
Historical campaign in the Ardennen. 15 Missions to be continued... Player aircraft: Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10 / K-4
I have tried to get as close as possible to the historic correct actions in the Ardennen campaign. Of course the missions are complete fiction. Most of the Allied Pilots are "veteran" while the German Pilots are mostly "average" sometimes even "rookie" only Rottenführer are "veteran" ...The allied Airforce was larger in numbers and had air superiority I reduced this fact a bit, so it is max. 2.5 to 1 (allied to German fighter planes).
An historic campaign for the Me163B 'Komet'.
I have endeavoured to make this campaign as historically correct as I could. The campaign begins in 1944 with training at EKdo16, then the successful pilot goes on to 1./JG400, the only Me163 Staffel to see regular and major combat action. You will fly missions that were in fact flown by many different pilots, so you have an opportunity to score more kills than the real fliers. However, the real goal of this campaign is to stay alive; as the campaign progresses you should find this increasingly more difficult.
Specs needed: FB, but I'm sure it will also work with the FB/AEP/PF combo.
This is a 12 mission set inwhich you fly the 190F attempts to cover the experiences of a German flight leader in SG I in the last days of June 1944. One of the missions is presented in 2 alternate formats with a different load-out for the player's plane.
In this campaign, the ââ¬ÅUnternehmen Barbarossaââ¬ï¿½ is simulated from the beginning in 1941 until the evacuation of the Crimea in 1944. The events, squadrons, ground units, troops and divisions etc. are included just as and where they were in these days. It is as correct from the historical point of view as I could make it :-) You can chose to fly the Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighter with its different versions as well as the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 A4. You will start with the Bf-109 F2/F4 and switch to the Focke-Wulf after several missions.
If you've played my "Battle of Britain - Hurricane Season", the story continues from there. You will fight to defend Great Britain from Germany's unrelenting assault and the impending invasion called Operation Sealion, from Sector 11's RAF Biggin Hill
RANK: SQUADRON LEADER - BLUE SWIFT SQUADRON
STATION: RAF BIGGIN HILL
PRIMARY AIRCRAFT: SPITFIRE
TIMELINE: SEPTEMBER 1st - OCTOBER 31st
You will be able to fly the campaign as a RAF fighter pilot (Hurricane MkIIB), a IJN fighter pilot (Zero) or a IJN bomber pilot (Val). The campaigns mirrors many missions from the others but each one of them has a few missions that are unique to each career. Several actions were divided into more than one mission.
A Historic Off Line Campaign, where you are a fighter Pilot with the 76th Squadron RAAF ( Royal Australian Airforce)
based at Gurney Air Base in Milne Bay at the eastern end of New Guinea in August/September 1942
This 9 mission mini Campaign is our first and attempts to recreate the desperate fight that took place over a 10 day period
at Milne Bay between the Australian Armed services, and the Army,Naval and Air Forces of Imperial Japan.
The balance of power is rapidly shifting in favor of the Allies. Our cities are being bombed around the clock, and the death toll is mounting.
Our best pilots are becoming a memory as they throw themselves against the fierce guns of the heavy bomber streams. Germany's single hope may be the new type of fighter aircraft in development,
but the Fuehrer has made it known that he wants the new jet used as a bomber! With High Command showing their typical wisdom, the situation is desperate. Can you help turn the tide? It's time to leave Berlin and your administration desk behind. Your Bf 109 is ready to fly. Good luck!
This campaign was created as a request for IL2 FB skinner CanonUK. In this 25 mission historical campaign, the player will be piloting the Bf109 G2 model which was introduced to JG54 in July of 1942. You will fly with the III/JG54 ââ¬ÅGrunherzââ¬ï¿½ unit that was stationed for a long period of time at the Siverskaya airfield south of Leningrad. You will have an opportunity to fly in a wide variety of mission types, weather conditions and will face various types of Soviet fighter, bomber and transport planes.
The "BHAF PROJECT" is a project to build up a Bornholm Air Force.
It will be a whole story of what might had happen if Bornholm was an independent state, which it could have been after the islanders through the Swedish out in 1658.
Bornholm is by the way a small island located in the Baltic Sea abd placed between Germany/Poland and Sweden.
It was occupied by Germany in World War 2 from April 10th.1940 till May 10th. 1945.
And then occupied by the Soviet Union from may 10th. till April 5th. 1946.
The story line uses real life facts and we intent to make a little over 150 skins to go with it.
Authors: BUBOTA, Cortomaltese, Ddave, Hot Space, RAF_Loke.
This is a 25 mission single player campaign which is a twist on history.
Player is an ex-military pilot, he was taken from his squadron and put behind a desk because of his age. That didn't sit well with him or some of his friends in the same situation. They got together when the war wasn't going well and put their skills on the market. I know the idea is a little silly, But I wanted to build a campaign with some of the German jet fighters that aren't seen much in DGen campaigns.
This is a 15 mission VVS bomber campaign set in 1944. Player flies a series of VVS bombers on 2 fronts. Bombardirovshchik '44 is a 15 mission campaign featuring 3 Soviet bomber a/c - the Pe-2 Series 359, the A-20G and the B-25J. The first 4 missions are flown in a Pe-2 on the Crimea map in the Spring 1944 Sevastopol campaign and feature dive bombing strikes on harbour shipping, bridges, airfields and a radar station. The player is then "transferred" to an A-20G unit and flies low level torpedo and bomb strikes on Axis targets in and around the Crimea. The player is then moved to a B-25J unit on the Leningrad Front and flies medium altitude level bombing strikes, a submarine intercept and a low level bridge bombing raid. The final mission is another bridge strike, this time flown again in the Pe-2.
A quick 4 Mission Campaign which I made awhile back. It's January 1st 1945 and the German's have launched their last ditch effect to regain the skies over Europe. In Hitler's last ditch effort he will try and push the Allied Air Forces from the air.....but do you have the skill to stop them?
Here the first outing in the country Slovak! You are a young Slovak pilot, any expenses left the military academy. Transferred in June 1944, within the 13./JG52, you will control superb Bf-109G6! And you will have to defend your Fatherland! A true challenge! To intercept the American raids, to waver between the "Allies" of yesterday, in short, a difficult campaign!
This Campaign is intended to act as an overview of the various types of missions which Beaufighters flew during the war. In fact, a single Squadron would not fly all of these mission types, rather would be assigned to a single role. But obviously players would prefer to see more variety. There is also the fact that often Beaufighters would not encounter targets and many missions were uneventful.
I use No. 176 Squadron RAF for the aircraft ID during this campaign. No. 176 did fly Beaufighters, but actually did so in the Far East. However, there are no Squadrons available in PFââ¬s directory which flew Beaufighters in Europe.
A USMC Pacific campaign for Forgotten Battles + Ace Expansion + Pacific Fighters (v4.01m)
This is a 26 mission historical campaign flying the F4F-4 Wildcat for the United States Marine Corps. You will be stationed on Guadalcanal during late 1942 to protect the captured airfield from the Japanese Army and Navy who want it back.
A 40 mission scripted campaign based on the exploits of the highest scoring RAAF ace of the war, Clive Caldwell. Combat begins in 1941 in the North African desert pitting the TomahawkMkIIb against the best Axis aircraft of the period. Then you will transfer to "Australia" to face off against the Imperial Japanese Navy and Army, flying the SpitMkVIII.
A 12 mission semi-historical campaign set in Northern France in the time period May-August 1943. Inspired by Donald L. Caldwell's "JG26: Top Guns of the Luftwaffe", the campaign features the FW190A-5. You will fly as a flight leader among the other "Old Hares" of JG26 "Schlageter".
An 18 Mission fictitious Campaign.
Cat's Eye's is based around a Bristol Beaufighter Nightfighting Squadron in England, February 1941. You're Squadron Leader D.J Baxter, who has completed a Tour of Duty on Day Fighter's, and after a period of rest, you've applied to be a Cat's Eye.
It is a set from five subcampaigns from 1941 till the invasion in 1944.
The first part shows the period from july 1941. The main opponents are Bf109 und Spitfire 5b.
What I´ve tried to show, is the so called "circus" or "rodeo inflights" by the RAF, consisting of a very small
number of bombers, protected by a huge number of fighters, which intended to oblige the German fighters.
This part shows the period starting in spring of 1942, when the FW190 arrives and were a bad surprise to the
RAF. Opponent to the 190's was the Spitfire IX (from time to time)
In this separate subcampaign the first US-planes appear over European skies. From now on the number and
quality of the P 47s, B 17s und B 24s increases more and more.
France end of 1943:
This subcampaign intends to show the overwhelming outnumbering of the German fighters by the allied
airforces, which resume attacking by any types of fighters. Even the number of the four-engined bombers
still keeps on growing.
France may 1944:
In the last subcampaign I've tried to show the allied bomber offensive preparing the invasion. Two and four
engined bombers appear in great numbers..
A 13 mission campaign built around VMF-312 aka "Day's Knights" or "The Checkerboarders" and their stint on Okinawa in April 1945. You fly the F4U-1C/D against the latest Japanese Fighters & Ohka Suicide Plane.
This is a pack of fourteen consecutive missions reproducing the first African campaign of the Italian army between July and December 1940 against "desert rats" of General Wavell. This campaign is about a Fiat Cr42 pilot of the "Regia Aereonautica Italiana".
Semi historical single-play mini (intro) campaign.
First part (intro): - defend motherland from axis invasion (op. Marita)
- RYAF (Royal Yugoslav air force)
- 2nd Brigade / 4th Regiment/ 34th Group. This campaign covers first year of ww2 in Croatia. If you manage to survive axis invasion you'll find yourself as member of NDH (Independent state of Croatia) air force. NDH signed treaty with Germany so you are on axis side from now on. In the meanwhile, resistant movement grows up and ... well, decision is yours.
Four mini campaigns are in this collection. They include the E.T.O. Charlie's Six Pack, Battle for Saipan and Malaya. Single mission and coop versions are also included in the main folder with very easy install instructions. If you like carrier ops and bad weather, then this is for you :-)
Fly a tour of ops with 80 squadron in North Africa and Greece during the early part of the war with Italy. Aircraft types are the Gladiator and Hurricane. This is the first in a 4 part Desert Air Force campaign spanning 1940 to 1945.
Following evacuation from Greece with number 80 squadron you have been rested for the past 6 months. Now you return to operations in the desert. Your new posting is to the Tomahawk equipped 112 squadron. 34 missions spanning the period from the start of operation Crusader to the breakout from Alamein a year later.
In January of 1942, British controlled Malaya was falling quickly into the hands of the Japanese. Singapore, once called the Gibraltar of the East, was facing the prospect of Japanese control. Calling for reinforcements, the Royal Air Force called on the assistance of the Royal Australian Air Force, the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the Royal New Zeland Air Force. Together, the men of these squadrons battled impossible odds with their obsolete Brewster Buffalo aircraft. This campaign is loosely (and semi-historically) based on the experiences of Flying Officer Geoffrey Fisken in the defense of Singapore.
3 seperate North African campaigns for Forgotten Battles + Ace Expansion (v2.04)
The USAAF version requires the combined install with Pacific Fighters
You will fly for the 57th Fighter Group of the USAAF in the P40, the British Desert Air Force in the Kittyhawk & Spitfire MkVb, and the Luftwaffe's JG 27 in the Me109.
Aug 1942, take up the role as an American fighter pilot with the new 8th Airforce in England, in 1943 you will join the 56th Fighter Group flying the P47 and destined to become 'Zemkes Wolfpack' the highest scoring FG in the Mighty 8th.
This mini campaign allows flying in a BF109Z. This strange machine existed only as a single prototype. We thought amusing to produce its campaign. Assault missions, interceptions, protections, etc. around Balaton lake and Berlin...
Israeli war of independance campaign. As an experienced World War 2 veteran you have been welcomed as a volunteer fighter pilot in the newly formed Israeli air force. The first fighters have just arrived; Czechoslovakian built Me109s and they have to go straight into action because of the desperate situation on the ground.
This is a semi-historical campaign, in which you are a pilot in Finnish Llv 30, a newly formed Fighter Squadron, equipped with British Hawker Hurricanes. It starts in June 1941. This is a semi-historical, static 11-mission campaign, set during the first half-year of conflict between Finland and the Soviet Union, the start of the so called Continuation War. You are a pilot in Llv 30. It is a newly formed Fighter Squadron, commanded by lieutenant-colonel Edvin Nautio. You are a member of group 1Gr/Llv 30, which are equipped with British Hawker Hurricanes.
This is a NON-HISTORIC campaign created for Forgotten Battles. You have been unexpectedly transferred from Crimea to an unknown airfield somewhere South East of Stalingrad.
Welcome to your new home. A strange adventure awaits you.

You will fly F2As and F4Fs in scrambles, intercepts, ground attack, and patrols, from aircraft carriers and ashore. While all missions are based on historical fact.
This is a 16 mission mini campaign for the Mitchell B25 taking place over France, Holland and Belgium during 1943-45. Missions are (almost) all based on actual missions flown by an array of Mitchell-squads.
It's Spring 1942, your new base is located on one of the Channel islands. You'll lead the Spitfires(SpitfireMkVbLF) of the No. 131 (County of Kent) Squadron in the air offensive over occupied France...Your job is to go out there and continue the process of liberating continental Europe.
Fly the Ta-183 in a 6 mission fictional battle with the Soviet Union in 1946. Fall 1946 - the delayed war with the Soviet Union has resumed with both sides digging in and preparing for a long fight between a post-Hitler Germany and a newly reinvigorated Soviet Union. Take to the skies over Kurland with II/JG54 the new Ta-183 jet interceptor.
In this campaign you get to fly the Japanese Ki-43 in the famous Sentai 64 in Burma, during the first Chindit Offensive, early 1943. During this period the Ki-43 was still pretty evenly matched with the opposing Allied aircraft. No Turkey shoots. This is a semi-historical, 23-mission campaign, set to start in the middle of February 1943, about the time when the Allies launched the so called First Chindit Offensive, striking in a guerilla-like manner across the Chindwin river, through the jungle, to the Irrawaddy, deep into the Japanese rear. The campaign ends with the coming of the monsoon season in May, which put an end to all serious fighting. You are Japanese Fighter Pilot in Sentai 64, 3rd Chutai.
HAYATES OVER LEYTE is an 11 mission campaign featuring the Ki-84A Hayate fighter. The campaign takes place in October and November 1944. The player is a senior flight leader in an IJA unit. The campaign features intercepts of P-38L fighter bombers and B-24 level bombers; recces; a low level fighter bomber strike on "Tacloban Airfield"; escorts of a Ki-46 recce plane, Ki-61 fighter-bombers and A6M2 Zero kamikaze strike planes; and dogfights with P-51D, P-47D "razorback", F6F-5, FM-2 and P-38L fighters.
This 26 mission campaign was designed as a training tool for myself to become familiar with the IL2 FB Full Mission Builder. It features both models of the He111 in a variety of missions from torpedo attacks, recon, level bombing, submarine patrols, minelaying etc. There are also a few historical missions relating to the Stalingrad airlift.
A fictional mini-campaign for the P38. It has no historical value what-so-ever. Although it is based on the Kuban map, it is not representative of anything that ever took place there, in this dimension nor any other (to my knowledge)
You and your squadron are based on some coast doing routine patrols when it appears the Germans are up to something. Away you go.....Part 2 picks up shortly after Part 1 and you have settled in to your new airfield across the strait.
Get the scent of napalm in your nostrils as you fly an F4U with VMF-121 during the amphibious assault on Peleliu. This is a very detailed campaign with a highly populated map, and large amounts of activity both on the ground and in the air. If your rig is less than 1Gb and graphics card less than 64MB, I recommend lowering your graphics settings.
A highly detailed campaign with RAF Hurricanes during the Battle in Malaya . It starts with the landing of Japanese troops in the north west coast of Malaya and ends sadly with the capitulation of Singapore.
This 42 mission campaign historically follows the career of German fighter pilot Heinz Knoke during WWII. The campaign is based on Heinz Knoke's diary memoirs from his book 'I Flew for the Fuhrer'. He flew on the Western front against the RAF. He then flew on the Russian front during Operation
Barbarossa' and in Norway, protecting the German heavy Cruiser Prinz Eugen.
Finally he flew against the American daylight bomber offensive. Throughout his operational career, the Messerschmitt 109 (in various versions) was his main aircraft type. He briefly flew the Me262 jet fighter.
This is a totally fictitious campaign involving the Balaton region map and the Player as a German pilot. You'll be flying first the B-239 Buffalo being used as a trainer, then the Bf-109E-4B Jabo fighter bomber. As you will quickly learn, this campaign came solely from my fertile imagination so if you are looking for history, you might try another campaign. Accurate history aside, if you are looking for a 37 mission campaign with varied missions and quick action, you've came to the right place. Ive tried to make each mission different and challenging without making the pilot fly 2 hours to get somewhere, or making the missions so tough you want to quit trying after doing the same mission 12 times.
Specs needed: FB, but will work with the FB/AEP/PF combo.

As well as taking on the might of the 8th Air Force, you will fly against the RAF 2nd Tactical Air Force and the USAAF 9th Air Force defending against the Allied invasion of Normandy. Later you will lead I/JG26 flying the Fw190d in support of the Wacht Am Rhein offensive, before seeing out the war flying the Me262 with III/JG7.
You will need Justflight's Battle over Europe expansion pack for the skins required for Part 3, or alternatively, you may use your own choice of skins or default skins instead by opening the mission files and changing manually.
This is the first chapter of the Eastern Front Campaign of Squadron JG 101. We have flown this missions online, and here they are converted
into single. These missions have as a historical background the german "Barbarossa" campaign during the first 15 days of the month of July 1941. The frontlines are pretty much correct, but the missions are fictional.
Part 4 of my Johnny Red Campaign. This chapter, set in July 1943, sees Johnny and the Falcons reprieved from their status as an experimental unit and reassigned as a fighter-bomber squadron in time for the Battle of Kursk where you fly a Spit IX, Yak-9T & Mossie.

In this Campaign you are a Soviet Fighter Pilot in the 22IAP, flying the I-16 against the Japanese in the initial border clashes in Manchuria, May 1939.
One of the least known conflicts of 1939 was the short but fierce border war between The USSR and Japan, fought in the summer of 1939 in Manchuria. The Japanese called it "The Nomonhan Incident", the Soviets "The Khalkin-Gol Battles".
This is a highly immersive 31 mission campaign in which the player flies the P-39N as a member of Aleksandr Pokryshkin's famous 16 GIAP in August 1943. All 23 missions in this offline campaign are historically based. They were actually flown by American aces such as George Welch, Thomas Lynch, and Richard Bong.
The campaign tells the story of the 6 month 1942 Japanese attempt to capture Port Moresby,New Guinea by land and the heroic defense by an Australian 1200-man brigade of militia that held them off, even though outnumbered 6 to 1 and often more. Commanders named are those actually in command at the time. Flyable in the campaign are P-39s, P-400s, P-40s, & P-38s.
This campaign puts you in a Spitfire cockpit on the Channel front in 1942. There are 24 missions including Rhubarbs, Circuses etc and historical missions covering events like the Channel Dash and the Dieppe landings. You fly for number 606, a fictional Squadron in 11 Group of RAF Fighter Command. Oddly, although there was a 605 Squadron and a 607 Squadron, I could find no reference to any 606 Squadron which is why I chose it for this campaign.
There is also a Luftwaffe version of the campaign which uses the same missions flown from an FW190 of III/JG2.
Specs needed: FB/AEP, but we work with the FB/AEP/PF combo.
In 1946 you are a pilot of the *Einsatzkommando Lerche*.

In April 1940, RAF 263Sqn was sent to Norway as part of the BEF. It was flying out of the frozen waters of Lake Lesjaskog, as considered better than any regular airfield. The Luftwaffe found them the following day after arrival and launch a series of attacks that soon jeopardized the existence of the Squadron itself. An historical campaign.
Specs needed: FB/AEP, but will work with the FB/AEP/PF combo.

I have tried to recreate as accurately as possible the circumstances faced by Bong in his 2 year onslaught of the Japanese armed forces. I have had to use different maps because many of the areas that Bong fought in are not represented in the game yet. Areas such as Northern New Guinea, Rabal, Borneo, the Philippine Islands of Negros, Mindoro and Leyte have not been modelled yet. I have found very similar areas on other maps that fit the bill however. By using the southern part of New Guinea I was able to recreate the Lae area farther to the north; by using the Singapore map I could recreate similar conditions to the Philippine islands etc. I think you will get the feel of the historical area and conditions.

Semi-historical Campaign, loosely based on the events that took place on November 30, 1939. World War II had started just three months before, when the Soviet Union invaded Finland.
Because the attack was considered completely illegal, the Soviet Union was expelled from the League of Nations soon after the invasion.
Despite the fact that the Russian had four times more troops, hundred times more tanks and thirty times more planes, the Finnish resistence was fierce.
While very broadly based on real events during the Battle of Britain 1940, this is a ten mission dive bomber campaign in which The Crimea map is coerced into representing the Pas de Calais and the South Coast of England. It is a tough one !!! But for me, it is corresponding to what the French and British pilots had to do in that dark May 1940 month... it is a real air combat mission, in which you will have to keep in your mind the real goal :
escort the bombers. Never forget that !!! You do not have to survive, but they have to destroy their targets at any cost !!! So... do not let anything fool you during your flight...

The missions, weather and front lines are as accurate as I could make them.
