Nice job for your first film.

Couple of things that needs improvement. It is hard to watched because it was a little too dark to view.
The other is to add some sound effects..ie..aircraft engines, cannon fire...things like that.

Your movie was very smooth with little or no lag.

Again great job on your first movie.

    Best Regards

Nice movie. I like the selection of music and fell of what you were trying to get into (the mood). However I agree with Falcon on dark part, this seems to be a problem when watching the movie, many scenes are almost visible, that distracts the viewer a lot.

Also (its just my feel) the slow and emotional music doesnt fit with 'hard-cut' transitions between the scenes. They are to sudden, dont fit the music, some fade in/outs or dissolves would definately be better.

I also find the early parts of the movie a little too chaotic, planes flying, shoot from nowhere. Would need some more logical scene setup so I could see what happens from when.

Also so more footage of the japaneese mission so I could get more emotional contact with the guys, think of some estabilishing shtos followed by some closeups.

Hope you find them usefull, and please let us know what you think of it.

Good work, keep making movies, you are definately on the right track I think. Looking forward to your next one!

Thanks for the tips fellas. I will defintely address the lighting issue in the next one. I am also going to get out a larger version so you can see detail that you normally won't.I will get better with the camera and try to give you guys more "money shots"!
I actually want only images and music to convey the story. No blasts, engines, noise. I intended it to be without sounds. I want you in that space of the event. I hope it works....
I also tried to make you an observer, which is why I cut to the battle. No takeoffs or "getting aquainted" and tried to give equal time and importance. I don't want you to be on the Japanese side or the American side.
I just wanted the event to speak for itself. And significant it was, as this is the FIRST time. To really see how images and mood can hit hard and fast check this out. WARTIME Productions put this out. I wish I could direct this good.

    Hi JavDog,

Good first effort, nice to see you got almost a stutterless movie with your first attempt. Agree with Falcons comments, get those sound effects in on the next one and work on the picture quaility. Overall for your first movie a good job was done
