If you have already played the game once, you can start it with offline mode at the bottom right of the login window. Unfortunately to avoid cheat you can 't load the savegames from online mode...
I'm pretty sure that they're already working on the problem.
Hi,seems to me that we all have the same problems, couldn´t find any comments in thee homepage, therefore I think it will be a bigger problem. If someone have an idea how to play with the saved games, let me know... See you in space, and Merry Christmas ;-)

Same problem here in the UK. I have to say I have been playing computer games for over 30 years (yes, really!) and this is the buggiest worst designed game I have ever bought.
It should never have been out on sale in it's present form and I could not recommend anyone to buy it. The online content especially is hopeless for a game which doen't even need to be online. Frankly my copy is about to go in the bin.
