    Topic for Force Recon.

For the noobs: Force Recon is a support that lets you call in regular Army troops to defend a position. When you deploy them, they'll move to the spot you targeted an stay there to defend it.

Recon Units are like your units but with no shield.

Force Recon 1 sends a single Fast Attack Vehicle for 3 Command Points.

The FAV is basically a Transport with a Riflemen in it, and effective against Gunships.

Level 2 sends a single FAV and 2 Tank units for 4 CP.

A common strategy is to call two level 2 Force Recons at the same time to the same location for a whopping 4 tank units with 2 FAVs for 8 CP.

Level 3 simply adds another FAV compared to level 2 for 5 CP.

It's effective against gunships but it's extremely weak and dies very easy, often tiems with the riflemen inside before it gets to destination.

Also you might want to add that you need 1 uplink for level 1, 2 for level 2 and 3 uplinke for level 3...I don't know why that's hard to understand but it gets asked a lot.
Broke my signature and reset my ignore list, well done Ubisoft...

It gets asked a lot because in the barracks description it doesn't say that you need 2 upgraded uplinks for level 2 and 3 upgraded uplinks for level 3. Common sense would say that you would , but for some reason Ubisoft didn't.

Force Recon is a bane and a gift, it can be a real game changer.

Which is why I insist you don't use it, stick to Air strike spam!

A lot of people are stymied when there are several units of FR sitting on their LZ. It's a truly underestimated support.

Also I've noticed that if you call in 2 level 2 FRs and the FAVs get taken out before the 4 tanks squads see any action, you can call in another level two. Meaning you have 12 tanks an 1 FAV.
