Adapt it your playstyle. Upgrade what units you plan to use heavily in your battle plan.

That being said, you can't go wrong with Forward command, and also buying all the 100,000 upgrades for the combat chain units (tanks, transports, gunships).

It's best to actually upgrade evenly up from the bottom from 100,000 Credit Upgrades to the 2,500,000 Credit Upgrades. Since you'll be using all your units, they all need to be strong.

I always start with forward command, as it allows you to get in closer to the action and reduce the wait time for your reinforcement. Then, I usually start by upgrading the troops I use the most to level 1, then everything else. I think its better to have every level 1 upgrade on every troop before buying a level 2 one, unless you feel you really need it.

I started with Forward Command. Then I added TONS of upgrades to my Kommandos (my favorite unit), also adding a healthy portion to Artillery (my second favorite, which work very well with Riflemen) and finally, I bought Force Recon 1 and 2 (my favorite Support ability).

Next on my list is Target Designator (which...people still can't seem to explain) and then probably Electronic Warfare 1, and then Force Recon 3.

i agree that you should prob just start off with 100k add ons on the units you use the most...then go from there...you should also buy all the first level mission supports when you get the chance...found that with each one i bought i gained a level and with each new level comes more money for wins and losses

as most games are conquest i would go with upgrades that are most useful for this game type.rifles with stealth and deep strike are most useful in addition to fwd command and emp,emp is available on every map and is key to slowing down any enemy vehicles at the links your rifles are trying to take.fwd command will give you an obvious advantage for when the game is in defcon and the rifle deepstrike phase is coming to a stalemate and you need to start deploying more conventional units and tactics.
Every time a game gets dashboarded a pro gets his wings
