I have seen many people who tried to arrange an tournament which never came..

I believe its almost impossible because there a so many factors in End War. The most important is the balance off the factions which we cant stop talking about.

When somebody wins the tournament as only playing JSF he will never be seen as the best. Thats why, playing only with JSF, the majority wont recognize your "skills" in EW and the title is worth NOTHING!

I believe the only way to know who is the best is to fight in an league in TOW but i prefer skirmish. Everybody needs to fight at all three factions and for every faction u have an league. You cant choose any maps, it will be chosen for you. Every match round has his own map chosen before the tournament starts. Then its possible to add the wins and losses and we know who is the best. Or u play an play-off with the three best of each faction. Or the second best if somebody owns two factions. Or no play-off because somebody owned all three factions.

I believe thats the most honest way and people will recognize the best but like i already said. I dont think it will come. It will take ages and a lot of organisation.

skirmish is the only way to do this, it's fair and u get to see who needs there secondarys more than others. the tournament should 1v1's, pick names out of hat and the players should play best out of three using all 3 factions.

I really wanna destroy you haha. I think when u play three matches. The first match one player choose map and faction, second match the other player can choose and the decider needs to be tossed. The last match will be played on one map, maybe springfield?
This is how the Xbox players wanted to do it.
Im willing to make a sort of tournament table if needed.

I have seen many views on the topic but not much reaction on it.

Man i dont think this will work for one reason, we all are gonna have to rank back up when psn is back up. I think they compromised a lot of information and are gonna have to reset all the profiles. I think that means we are gonna have to recreate new accts and re rank our units once online. I hope im wrong but by the length of the issue, the amount of time it took for customers to get a legit response from sony, and the amount of potential lawsuits sony will be facing(including me), be prepared for none of your accts to work anymore. But let me know who is number one in the skirmisch tournament so I can catch them with my new rank 5 or 6 acct when they finally get on tow lol!

All nice suggestions so far, I have some of my own.

Making the tournament barrack should be based on Total w/l on all fractions as a player and depending on the this number ppl would be matched initially. However modification to this numbers (w/l per fraction) would be required based on which fraction one plays. For example
JSF gets docked 10% in wins.
EURO gets 10% in wins exta
SGB can get 5% wins extra.
These percentages can be up to debate. Any ways moving on with the process for me as a person for example, to arrive at my Total w/l for barrack placement is

Euro 1300 / 530 +10% in wins = 1430/530
Rus 40/20 +5% in wins = 42/20

Another account (not mine just played on it)
Rus 110/60 = 110+5% in wins = 115.5/60
JSF 2/2 = 2-10% in wins = 1.9/2

Total up all the wins and losses and this is the number that should be posted by all persons in the tournament with your main account that one would like to play with. Assuming every person in the tournament is truthful and does the calculations right (a cut-off date to add up all the number must be specified).

To make it more fair a modification to Homey’s rule could be applied. Based on the barracks placement the map pre-chosen by the organizers would be played by both the tourneys as their home fraction for the first game and switch to the same opposite fraction that was played before for the next game. Should the player belong to the same home fraction the person with the worst w/l should choose. And the final battle will be common to all and should be played on Springfield as any fraction person with the lower w/l chooses. We only go into third round if the first two round end up as draws. Also to keep the tournament open to all EW player good and bad, the tournament should be played in skirmish. The tournament will be as long as how ever many players we get, and keeping it open to most of the EW players.

If a person can’t make it to there assigned tourney time. Like a lifeline (only one per person) They can be have up to a few days to delay. By default if that time can’t be made the opposite member gets the win by default.

How about dashboarding noobs be quiet about their stupid ideas for a tournament that will never happen. Maybe instead of a tournament for elite players, we should have a tournament for the noobs. That would be more interesting and alot more players would be involved. Like stated before, no one is the best but there are elite players and people know who they are. Now if you consider yourself elite and others disagree, then prove it by playing as euro on maps with no support. If your scared to play as euro with no supports then oh well.......

But yes, skirmish would be the only way to successfully pull off a tournament because how the lobby is situated. One map(i say matera or maxwell), doesnt matter the faction because your gonna switch sides anyway and you must pick the same battalion. First one to 4 wins, wins(like nba playoffs). I say TOURNAMENT OF NOOBS!!!!!!!!

And yes, i do think elite players have to play as euro at some point. It is the worst faction and hardest to win as. So if you win games as euro, people have to respect that. If you win games as euro on no support maps, then you WILL be considered elite. It doesnt matter about the competition at that point. If you lose as euro on maps with no supports, everybody will understand that. But to win, separates the classes of players in this game. Thats a fair way to determine the elite class of players to me.

but anyway, like i was saying, i once put on a forum that a skirmish tournament would be the best because the odds would be even and it would be easier to arrange matches. an then some one put a post up after mine saying a theater of war tournament would be better! if you guys wanna do skirmish then thats fine with me!! and when homicide said that noone would respect a king f end war if he was JSF all i heard was "End War is full of a bunch of cry babies that want WAR TO BE FAIR". truthfully i think all u punk azz russians an euro's are jus afraid of the almighty an powerful BLOS cannon all in ur faces every 90 seconds. lol if thats the case then simply wipe the tears from your eyes an jus sit on the benches an let the big boys have their fun!!
