    Ok this is a rant:

    For those of you at Bungie that have provided the fabulous game H2, I salute you. For those of you working for Bungie that cannot get these bugs and glitches out of the multi-player game, you need to play the game as we see it now; super-flawed.

    I played twenty plus games last night in BTB as well as Slayer, and to tell you the truth they all had massive cheating on both sides. The game is out of Bungie’s control. Gamers write their own rules and cheat in every match. XBL can ban gamers for this, but since it is so wide spread there is no method for a fiscal balance. Microsoft gives Bungie autonomy to a degree, but I'm sure handicaps them too. It saddens me to see such a brilliant game polluted with so many obvious cheats that can affect the outcome of any match. The stat-system is also suspect because of this and so are all the other features of the feedback process. I'm sure there are reasons why implementation is degraded, but honestly I don't care how they repair it, just fix it.

    PS,

    With all due respect to the Bungie team, you guys build the games we talk about around the water-cooler, and we buy them becuase of your skill and our need to kick the **** out of our fellow man. Please consider that the cheating thing robs us of this one element we so crave; equality of skills with an undefined outcome.

    Edit: Re: 22lbs lobster thread...

    On subject. It's probably falling on deaf ears...they are already looking at Xbox2 titles...no way will they invest the time and money in fixing/revamping H2. It's the same deal with BF:Vietnam. Thye still haven't fixed a lot of the game balance issues and it's going on almost a year now. When it comes down to it...it's not profitable to fix it probably. I just try to have fun with H2 for as long as I can, but then again Brothers uin Arms came out today...I might have to pick that up Friday.

    I hear you, but with any quality problem in service and retail there are repercussions that the buyer will meter out on your next offering. We as a public and consumers can outline this type of garbage and let the companies know that you can put **** in a box and call it Godiva, but based on its aroma it's still ^%%$^. Bungie cannot ride on this kind of quality issue; gamers are too sharp and too dedicated to the gaming experience. If they believe that when H3 rolls out, that people will buy it for the same reasons H2 stands out they are mistaken. H2 is, or was, a new standard in cosole gaming. This is no more.

    In a word; Dikatana.

    Oh, and I know all about "Bubba". He's a juicer all right.

    I totally agree with you. I just don't see them trying to fix it with Xbox2, and I would imagine some next gen Halo title, on the very near horizon. Only time will tell though.

    I play alot of HALO 2, but all I can say is, well

    This is for anyone that uses the stand by CHEAT;

    YES IT'S A CHEAT!!
    Whats bad is when they use that and still lose..

    Ladies excuse me but I hate glitches and hopefuly UBI's looking cause the RB6 BA was pretty glitcy also, really hoping Lock Down will push the game forward.

    Glitches aside I still play UBI, wrap me in plastic I'm a sucker. I still like the RB6 games and will still spend my hard earned cash on them, lol.

    I think the rodent says it all. We need to get a more united front for the incompleteness of H2 online game environment.

    FRANKIE's weekly update was the weakest retort to all those cheeting ****** out there that think that it is skill that enables them to defeat you with dummies and cheats; http://bungie.net/News/TopStory.aspx...eklywhatsfeb25

    Check it out, if you havent already...my favorite part is this segment; ..."The fixes we'll be implementing ought to alleviate things considerably. The fact is that the ones using Standby cheating as a way to increase their rank are the biggest clowns of all. If you are using Standby, your rank is MEANINGLESS BECAUSE YOU SUCK AT THE GAME. Good players don't standby BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD AT THE GAME. So if you're a standby cheater and you're a level 28, that 28 has a specific meaning to you â€" it means you are a level 28 moron and nobody likes you. So say that to yourself just once â€" "I AM A LEVEL 28 MORON AND NOBODY LIKES ME." See if it fits you."
