Well....two of the German preview screenshots show the little red triangle target marker in them. If that is in the game and it is not removable then it is back to the store for a full refund for me.

Well, Beeryus, we know, it's been worse. Remember those "Oh, no, torpedos homing on ship areas?" and "Reload in 30 seconds, how arcadish", when there were statements all over, that only easy mode was available.
I read a nice sentence over at IL2-forums, for a quite similar thread: "I judge people for what they did, not in the middle of the process."
Would be nice, if some people think about it...

Well, yes it is the worst example ever.
Another thing: if not the red triangle, what? how would you know at which ship you were targeting? They will probably look the same, it is a game. I would say: if there is not the red triangle, then I will be back to the shop for a refund. OK? I want it. So simple. No problem for me.
And yes, you've been only seeing the easy version of the game.

I'll judge by myself after a week playing. I just want to have a wide range of posibilities, from easy/arcadish to hard core simulation.
Figures, always someone complains, never happy. I hope they keep it in just to piss you off. im so sick of reading they did this or didn't do that. you havent seen the demo or the game and you just keep whining and judging. Grab a soother and a budha.
The only negative i have about the game, is it seems almost too prefect.
When the game arrives I'll be one of the biggest critics on the forum, but until that time we just have to wait. Conjecture and supposition are useless, and when they're combined with pessimism they're annoying as well.
I'm sure there will be enough REAL STUFF to complain about post-release. Until then, threads like this (pretending one's worst fears are reality) are worse than useless.
