Thread: So what's in it for me? | Forums

    S!

I am eager to find out what squadrons are looking for.

I started to write a post about finding a virtual squadron. My goal was (and still is) to find a group with whom I can train. However, I found myself writing "I would like" and "I am looking for" etc. etc. I got to thinking what does a squadron want with the likes of me?

So instead of describing myself, and what I am looking for, I thought I'd pose the question "What's in it for the squadron?"

We exist to grow, we grow to exist, all will be assimilated into the "Fightin' Irish" collective.

You can't improve your squadron's communication, navigation and combat skills when you don't have enough good pilot's to make it happen. People come, people go, so you need a continuous flow of new, energetic and talented people to get the most out of the squadron experience. Some pilots bring more than others, but you never know until you give them a chance.

What can we do for you? What can you do for us? Our squadrons purpose is to attract new pilots to enhance it's reputation. As with ANY existing organization or institution there are rules, and there are commitments. Our squadron is there for fun, and we need you to help make it more fun, and by your being there you make it a challenge and fun for yourself. I could go into more detail, but it will take your interest from this point on.

    You will not be disappointed.

    S~

The VMF 451 of course looks for new members but we dont look for a turn around rate. We want solid active players who want to stay and be a part of a TEAM. Training, I believe the VMF 451 has hit the jackpot as far as training is concerned. We have an outstanding training officer along with a dedicated training program to make each member of the "Blue Devils" more skilled in each passing week. Thats what the VMF 451 is about: Teamwork, Freindship and Fun.

Well, if it works out that you're a good guy to fly with, we get more fun out of the game.
