I really loved the Black Dragons from Heroes II, the way they looked, they way you had to upgrade the building twice to get them, and the fact that they were alone at the top of the food chain (possibly challenged by the Titans).

I would like to have this feeling back in Heroes V, where black dragons inspire awe and are not just one type among ten others. I would much rather just see one type of dragons (possibly with two upgrades as in Heroes II), than a heap of differnt kinds, just because dragons are cool..
If you ask me, the more they make, the less interesting and special they get.

Yes, the way dragons vere in Homm 2 was great. I really loved the true Warlock town with all its creatures. And i remember the feeling i had when i was upgrading the dragons" aaaaagh 1 more day until red dragons!!! aaaah!" And when i got them it was " Aaaaaah 1 more dy until i can upgrade to BLACK!! Aaagh cant wait! have...to ...have...them...NOW!" And when i finally got them "Yaaah!! finally!! Now bevare all you other puny things! I shalt smithe thee!!"
It was the best feeling in the world at that time. It would be great to have that sort of upgrading back.
However, I feel that there can be other dragons also. I really liked the Gold Dragon. And the Bone Dragon is a must in Necropolis. And i actually liked the Fairydragon from homm 3 too. But with anymore dragons than those in homm 5, im afraid the dragons wont be that special anymore. If anymore dragons, they would have to be neutral, and very, very rare and special.

I personally think that all super creatures like dragons, angels, titans, and so on, should live outside of towns.

I don't care for the Bone Dragons myself, but like the Black and Fairy Dragons (in IV because of looks ands spells). I only vaguely looked at WOG, but thought that the Azure Dragons looked kind of cool.

I personally don't see the need to limit the Dragon types to a few, as long as each type has it's own unique look and ability. Black should rule though...

Dragons with out doubt are one of the wonders in manygames like these.

id like to see some towns with the otion of recruiting thier own varity of dragons. be frank about it one town dedicated to dragons alone like the warlock town in Heroes2 basically kicked *** they were more or less unbeatable.

im not syaing all towns shud have dragons only a few for a couple and perhaps many neutral ones.

    example

id like a town dedicated to elves they keep the green and gold

dungeon army red and black theyr cool

faerie dragons neutral i thought they were wierd but awesome in hmm4

perhaps storm dragons sea dragons neutral again

rust dragons were cool and hard perhaps a dwarven city for them if there can be ann upgrade for them or they remain neutral

azures maybe allianced with the tower army

i can t really see why a titan would wan to be ordered around depsite thy kicked ***.

just a few ideas maybe introduce lava dragons swamp dragons white dragons the list is endless with thier own unique abilities i dont thinkit wud take the dragon rep down as people want to see more options available to them.

I just dodn't get the argument "we have to have creature X back because it was so strong".
It is easy to make anything strong, they just have to change couple numbers in creature's stats. It is much harder to come up with interesting creature, it takes imagination and creativity. I don't see how having 30 different dragons is good. From H3 i remember crystal, azur, faerie and bone dragons. There was a dozen more, like black, red, green, gold, white, pink, and so on. I don't remember what the difference was, could not care less. Let's not turn HoMM into D&D.

Dragons always been a part of heroes, although they should live amongst themselves in the wilderness.

Yeah, Black Dragons ruled the earth(and i guess they will rule once more).
I also think that they were absolutelly leathal in HOMM-4 too. I would dare to roam any map, with 2 heros and a slot of black dragons (even2 or 3 of them).

I am a huge dragon fan, but I tend to agree with simon_cowell that the dragons should be neutral. Only factions who had won their respect can enlist the mighty beast to their cause.
