Thread: SC: DA (XBOX VERSION VS. SC: DA (XBOX 360 VERSION) | Forums

Ok... ok so many know that the xbox and xbox 360 versions of SC: DA have totally differen't storylines all together. I beat the 360 version and did all the special stuff like kiss Enrica and what not BUT im complimplating if I should by the XBOX 1 version or not. I know theres a lot of more cinimatic scenes and a hell of a more indept storyline on the xbox then on the 360 due to graphic over dose on the 360. In the original xbox version is their actually a cinematic scene of Enrica and Sam kissing? Do they develop a tight relationship? In the 360 version its actually gameplay when you kiss her but no relationship... What should I do guys? Is the storyline better? Is the kiss cinematic? THANKS!

I completed the 360 and traded it for the XBOX version.

I've only played a tiny part so far and can't comment on the story line.

However, the most obvious thing is that the game plays better then the 360 version. Sam responds quicker, he feels more agile, the camera panning is massively faster, and the camera is further back (as it should be) meaning you can actually move Sam and look in a different direction at the same time (something I hardly managed to do with the 360 version as he was always in the way).

We have the good old vision modes again so I might actually use them in this game unlike the almost totally redundant modes on the 360.

Downsides are the graphics aren't anywhere near as good as the 360 - we are talking sub CT quality here. CT looks likes its running a higher res as well.

The HUD on the XBOX is large and ugly, and the text for dialogue is similarly large and ugly. It's not as polished as the 360 version or CT. You do have to question why people have to change things that were perfectly alright in the first place.

So, while it looks poor compared to the 360, the main thing for me is that I have full control of SAM again and the game is nice and responsive. The opening mission feels like a stealth mission and it just feels more familiar and enjoyable.

Now, lets hope we get BC so we can play it with extra anti aliasing on the 360 then it won't look quite so bad.
