I have been playing IL2 since it was released but I have just recently started tinkering with the FMB. Once you save a creation how do you delete it? Can this be done in FMB itself or do you need to go into something else?

You have to go into the explorer (not internet explorer) and then delete the files by name.

Windows Explorer, should be on Desktop. The mission files are in the "mission" folder in the folder where you installed FB. They are called *.mis and *.properties (or something I can't even remember right now).

You may wish to use Notepad or something to take a look at the *.mis files, to see what the mission information looks like in file form. Set a few aircraft and moving tanks/ships with waypoints, and see their instructions in the mis files.

When you (eventually ) get used to FMB, you can use text editor (notepad/wordpad) to cut and paste or otherwise make massive changes to mission waypoints or skill levels or unit types.
