    airstrikes only ever reduce my units health to orange. i can still use the unit or even evac and get 2 command points back.

    i lose 2 points and the enemy loses 4. if my gunship gets hit i use its special attack then evac so the enemy still loses out.

    only airstrikes which do any main damage are level 3. even then you need 3 upgraded uplinks, several million credits to buy it in the first place and 6 command points.
    6 command points to defeat a unit which costs 4 (only 2 in defcon)

    emp's are my favorite support. You don;t need to be near any bases to use it. It can help your units escape certain destruction. Can stop an airstrike(but is hard as hell), and can sometimes even let helis beat transports, tanks beat helis and ect.

    Come on guys - Yeah you've played before, but you have to be able to adapt to the strategies of your opponents, which is why this is a RTS game.

    adapt your stategy...
    First of Cp does gain with time. But its really slow...

    You get 4 or 5 cp just for capturing an up link and I think 2 for up-grading.

    If an opponent con call in 33 airstrikes then you must have lost the game from the start...Stop camping and attack.

    4 for capturing, you don't get anything form upgrading.

    like said earlier attack his units.
    EW (electronic warfare) not EMP can negate air strikes.
    I dont really mind airstrikes and EW, its force recon that annoys me, I have no choice but to kill them and I loosem reserves aswell. and force recon is ahrdly weak.

    I think force recon only needs to be tweaked in one way, why is that at level 2 it gains 2 tank groups? and the difference to level 3 is what, basically another lvl 1? I think lvl 2 should add one tank group and level 3 should double each groups basically leaving lvl 3 the same. just kinda makes more sense on the support curve. lvls are ruffly the best as far as CP to power issue seeing as it only takes 2 uplinks and moderate points, lvl3s are just overpowered nicety by comparison. But their are suggestions of an expensive SAM sights on other threads to combat the turtleing AS spammers. While I know how to combat them (came up with standard strategy to combat Grissom back when it was under Russkie use) And even have done it myself (viva la Reagan) I still feel, its a bit idk, off.

    No, it is not. CP gain is always the same no matter how many uplinks you have


    And I cannot agree with the need of tweaking of the support as well I cannot agree with 2-3 minutes to destroy uplink.

    I usually destroy them with one artillery in less the 1 min 30 sec second uplink is usually faster as I have a second artillery unit.

    And as well how can you let some one use so many air strikes? Instead of thinking how to make dev's tweak the support you should think on how to tweak your strategy to adapt to players that use it. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>


    I think you have some time spacial issues bro, I've timed it before, it takes 3mins 15sec to destroy it with a hardened russian arty which is he strongest of the 3.
