Help!

I am fairly new to skinning, most of what I have done up to this point has been to modify 1-layer BMPs to add things like numbers, etc.

Now I want to step up my involvement, maybe even create some original skins to share with others.

My problem with the B-239 is this...the FB void file is TERRIBLE! And when I downloaded some B-239 skins from il2skins, they were EXCELLENT! Every rivet stands out in sharp detail. Someone has obviously taken an enormous amount of time to make the void template for those birds.

So how can I pay homage to the artist and download the that awesome B-239 void file? I can not find it anywhere....

Any help is appreciated!

Here's my template, which I think is being used regularly as the source of Brewster skins, which is the whole purpose of publicizing a template in the first place, however a little credit now and than would be nice [img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif[/img]

Thank you for the assist Spades! Now I need to get a real copy of Photoshop...mine is 4.0 LE, which only allows for five layers... [img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif[/img]

I guess I need to get to Ebay to get a full version.

Could upload you a PSP version, only went for PSD since the latter format is more universal. Eiter way this copy was made with PSP and saved to PSD.

I am not sure what PSP format is. I have PhotoShop LE 4.0, which reads PSD but only allows 5 layers. What is PSP?

PSP[img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif[/img] aint Shop Pro by JASC software

You can download this program and obtain it for a relatively cheap price. Not as functional as Photoshop, but very user friendly and certainly more than powerful enough for making skins.

Iâ´ve been doing a lot of skinning lately (early stages, still learning) and I managed to get a couple of very nice ones done. Upon opening your Brewster template, I realized I use a whole different technique than you do. I hope to learn some more from the way you structured your layers.
