City Of Light- Cage wont close on boss! | Forums

Ok, I really need help. I've googled everything i could think of and have not seen ANY other people with the same problem I do.

It's in the City of Light and it's the part where you gotta hit the big guy into the cage and the Prince is suppose to hit the switch to close the gate.

My problem is no matter how many times i knock his fat *** into it, it wont close!!

Please if anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it. The game has been so much fun up to this point, but now it's just aggrivating!

I'm really about to give up. I dont know if it's a glitch, or if I have to hit him in there the right way or what, but I've tried everything.

You must push him so far into the cage against the wall that he tries to step on the prince but Elika intervenes with her magic and a little tug-of-war starts(Hope you understand what I mean?-the part where you must press the sword butten repeatedly, it also happens when you must push him of the edges.)

If this is what you've been doing,it might be a bug,restart from the previous save point before this part of the city of light.

If above does'nt work I suggest watching a walktrough on youtube of this part,you might just see what you've been doing wrong.

same here...i've had this guy stepping on me for about 20 times, unsuccessful every time...cannot quite imagine how much you can do wrong pressing a stupid button ...any ideas?

I have the same problem. It seems the cut scene is the same for the Cage as it is for Over the Edge. My tapping/mashing skills are fast enough for other areas, i.e. Land Healing, but I must need hummingbird wings to get the Warrior to give it up! I've tried every piece of advice like backing up to another area or previously saved session, to no avail.
