"Just Singing" award on Xbox without singing | Forums

So, I finally got my pre-order and had about an hour to play so far.

I noticed I unlocked "Just Singing: Using a mic, sing along and achieve Nice Singing"

Um, but I wasn't singing anything... I had a mic plugged in (for Rock Band)... Maybe it was close enough to my speakers to get the game vox in there?

Anyone else have that experience? I'm wondering if there's a bug here. Either way, not a big deal, I just thought it was strange.

Yup. Didn't do anything to get that trophy on my PS3 either. Just had the PlayStation Eye attached and it decided I had been singing... Since it happened on the first song I played. I am pretty sure I had no time to be singing along to anything while trying to figure out the UI

I unlocked it by actually singing, then my buddy tried the game and I moved the mic stand to the side near a speaker and he got the singing achievement as well. kinda funny.

I have yet to find a USB mic that isn't either 1) a piece of crap or 2) really, really expensive! So, much as I'd like to be able to do the multiplayer karoake thing on RS I haven't gotten to it. Any mic recommendations?
