    Artifacts That Change Initiative Bug

    Has anyone else noticed that the various artifacts the affect initiative (Mesmerizing Spaulders, Rings of Celerity/Speed/etc) do not work at all when battling an army lead by another hero. I find they only work when battling creatures that are not part of another hero's army.

    found another one! and guess what! it's a dynasty weapon bug! woohoo!
    urgash will inferno dynasty weapon has an ability (BURNING FIRE) that does not work
    it says that fire damage dealt by the hero cannot be healed. and guess what?! tis does
    the dynasty weapons need fixing!

    Most probably the enemy hero has an artifact that reduces your initiative, OR he visited a building that boosts initiative.

    I wish that were the case, but nope, this happens with absolutely EVERY enemy hero. I've checked if there are initiative boosters aound and when I win the battle I do not get any artifacts that boost initiative. I've literally been tracking this glitch for months. On occassion I would go up against heroes that had a boost from buildings, etc, and they would then be exactly higher by the amount expected, but as if I was not equipped with any of the artifacts that provided a boost to me. When I use those buildings my initiative only goes up by the amount provided by the building but not by the amount the artifacts should provide. Oh well!

    Game version 1.4 Bug: Conflux Community

    Boy is this Conflux community thing bugged, don't even know where to start.

    1. Inviting Friends

    -Friend Requests don't work. The person sending a request gets the given player name in his/her friend list, but the requested friend does not know about the request at all. Also the friend list shows Friend Player's status Offline even if the friend is On-Line. The Friend LIst does not refresh unless you close the list or the game itself.

    2. Skype Widget

    -What is thing supposed to do? Explain to me please. Seriously, in it's current form it only shows your list of Skype friends that are online(unless the the Conflux falsely thinks Skype is not connected). There's no In-Game Call functionality as I thought there would be. If you right-click on the Online Person's nickname you get "Open Chat" option that once clicked does Absolutely Nothing. The only option for voice chat is to use a third party program as Team Speak or Skype separately.

    Edit: I found out that this one(integrated Skype chat) seems to be working better than the normal Chat Widget in the game. I guess the thing not working was due to very first simultaneous launch of Heroes VI and Skype. Next time I ran the game with skype the Skype Widget seemed to be working fine. I'm glad to see at least one of the in-game communication widgets works, too bad it requires both Skype and Heroes running together.

    3. Chat Widget

    -Inviting Friends to a chat channel does not work. After typing "/invite friendname" the widget tells me that friend is offline as he/she clearly is Online. Sometimes if a friend joins manually your chat room the messages that people send to each other won't be delivered and/or the player who just joined does not seem to be in the room. When it comes to messages directly to player from your friend list the game states following "Player is offline. Messages you send will be delivered when Player comes online" -regardless of the fact that friend is Online according to the friend list.

    Overall the major problem seems to be the fact that the widgets don't refresh at all if the person does not restart the widgets constantly(manual refresh button anybody?). Another flaw in the system seems to be something related to the player Online/Offline status queries. Seriously, after Patch 1.5 they should fix the **** thing or remove completely as the Conflux clearly is unusable at almost a year after game release.

    Проблемы и баги в игре:
    1) Постоянные дисконнекты конфлюкса / permanent disconnects of conflux
    2) Иногда не могу сдвинуть обзор карты мышью, работает только на миникарте / Somtimes can't move a view by the mouse, it's working only by the minimap
    Помогает только перезагрузка игры / This bag disappear by restarting game for some time
    3) Вечером вообще не подключается к конфлюксу / can't connect to conflux at night (greenwich +5 hours)
    4) Da vi zatrahali so svoimi seivami igri na servere

    PS: В общем учите русский язык.

    So... today i've launched H6 for the first time since Novmeber 2011 (sic!), after i gave up back then, due to amount of bugs the game had.
    Over half a year later, here i come thinking it must have greatly improved since then.

    Quite a shock

    Two main things that bothered me back then and they still do :

    1) When you are being attacked, the keyboard shortcuts for WAIT, DEFEND and all that - they DO NOT work as they didn't 8 months ago.
    Tell me, are you being serious ? Something - i believe - so trivial to fix, and it's still not sorted ? It's so annoying to have to use actual icons to do that, even more during longer battles

    2) After quite a few battles, during a longer one, the game will randomly freeze, minimize and then maximize, except, all i will get is pitch black screen with a proper cursor relevant to the current unit that is in action. Basically, i can play the battle by intuition, remembering where my units are and where are the oppos units, but i won't really see anything.
    This probably is more complex issue then the shortcuts and probably has something to do with GFX drivers or whatever. But i'd assume, that 8 months down the road, you'd have managed to get all the fairly new cards and drivers compatible with H6. Of course, i can't discard the possibility of it being user-end issue. So just in case, here is my specs :

    Proc : Core2Duo E6750 (2x2.66Mhz), never overclocked
    Motherboard : ASUS 5PQ-VM
    Memory : 2x2gb Kingston
    GFX : ATI Radeon HD5850 Twin Razor 1GB memory - never overclocked

    Any thoughts on that ?

    don't know if this is a bug. resilience passive skill adds 12% vitality only when you haven't casted reinforcments!

    yes there are thoughts on that! as one other user posted some time ago the game is poorly programmed. his pc had the double specs than those that were required to play the game and it was slow enough when he was playing. same goes for me. my game is slow in general and my machine here is decent. so here is your answer! your machine is great the game is just too heavy!

    Another question :

    Shouldnt the freeze/chill immobilise units to the point they are only able to attack anything that is adjacent to them ? If so, why do Griffins are capable to perform the dive attack despite being frozen ? Seems kinda silly to me (although it kinda helped me in the battle i had).
