What i am about to write may upset some. May make some nod their head in approval. I do not control which reaction you have to this.
After reading almost every single thread of complaint on this Forum - i feel it only right, that i bring a message - not of hate - but of insight.
It is easy to hate this product - to hate Ubisoft for their lack of speech - to generally just hate. But i ask of you, as you read this - Dedicate one minute to think about what you like about this game - and leave a comment about it here if you so wish - But most importantly, despite what your reasoning tells you - despite what you may think you are righteously inclined to hate and what not - try to dedicate one second of your time, to appreciate what you really enjoy by this game, in this awesome installment of Heroes.
I do not undermine your rage nor your right to rage out - but i merely ask of every reader of this thread, to try and switch the perspective for one second - And if i have succeeded with even that - then my work is done.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Alright, good topic.
I really like the campaign in this game, it's interesting, keeps you wanna play and play and not go to bed, thats a very good sign.
The flexible ability and skill up system is impressive cuse you don't get bored very fast, and there is noumerous ways to play your hero.
The most impressive are the battle system which in my opinion is awsome. Good design on creatures ,at least necromancer, they did a good job with the deep dark look. Funny animations too.

Have to say I love the art style, much better then the style in previous games imo.
Actual graphics are fine as well. I'm not really bothered by the lack of aa like so many seem to be, it doesn't affect my game experience at all.
I like the individual creature's abilities a lot more as well, many more passive skills adds to depth. I also like the hero skill trees, sure some powers need some work either small buff/small nerf but overall its pretty good for the first few weeks after release.
Dynasty Weapons are very cool and a brilliant addition to heroes, and it can take quite a long time to level all of them up to 5.
Dynasty Perks are very nice as well, and I found it fun leveling dynasty xp so I could buy some of the better ones.
Edit: Nice thread.

Like I said before... This was a lot of fun for 50 bucks!
I've got 4 children and can't get out of McDonald's for 50 bucks!

Even though I just wrote a "rage" post
There are still things that Blackhole did well. I like the shear number of artifacts and sets. Adding the Dynasty function and Items was brilliant. Beautiful graphics. I won't bother adding things that need to be changed, they are so numerous.

What I love about the game is even though they released it with bugs, like week of plague, they also released it with bugs like Arachne level 4 so I dont have to reload, I can just equip it to even the playing field. >: )

The art style is what impressed me the most. It's more mature and less "cartoony" than Heroes 5. That honestly was the biggest turn-off for Heroes 5 for me. I'm not a fan of WoW style graphics and I found the resemblance too uncanny at times.
I enjoy the skill tree options and how it makes my right-left brain ambivalent for several minutes just to make a choice!
And Sanctuary? This was the first time that an Asian-influenced town type was introduced in ANY Heroes release (I can't speak for Wake of the Gods, never played that one). I liked playing that campaign a lot!
