Thread: Patch/LE disappointment | Forums

  1. #1
    Is there a patch yet?

Also, I hope someone from Ubi does read these; I feel very ripped off. I don't care about music on a CD (I have it in-game already), but I want the creature stat card. That is basic to this game, and absolutely ridiculous it is not included. What's worse, most of the rest of the world did get it. It's not like it hasn't been made, it just wasn't given to us in North America. That is just sad and not a way to treat a gamer who WANTS to support you. Then Heroes 3 and 4 aren't even complete. It was better that you didn't do any of that than make people angry because it is so 1/2 done.

I think the creature stat-card is only in the collectors edition or whatever the name is. Anyway in the one more expensive .
No patch yet. It will be on the webiste displayed and here stickied when it apears.
If you want to see the creature stats you can look here:

    From the 7-th screenshot on.
I really like those and as soon as i get a colour printer i will print them ^^ .

I did buy the more expensive one, that is what I am saying is wrong. $10 extra, and people around the world get a stat card, and I get a disc with music.

It is a shame that Ubi has alienated their North American customers.

UBI, WHEN DO I GET MY STAT CARD? YOU ARE GOING TO SEND THEM, CORRECT?

    My dear Sunjah,

First of all, please try not to post that demand in CAPs,it is rude.It sounds as if you are ordering UBISOFT.

Second of all,UBISOFT will not be sending you the creature stat card even under legal threat whatsoever.

I assume that you are a intelligent consumer and has done some background product research before buying something right?I'm sure that you know about the differences between the European Deluxe Edition and the American Limited Edition. So if you are disattisfied with what is included in the American Limited Edition of the game, why did you buy it in the first place? Why did you not buy the European Deluxe Edition then?

I know that you will most probbaly defend yourself by saying that you stay in the US or somewhere near it but if the creature stat card is so important to you,i'm sure that you will be willing to pay extra to order the European edition.

I just cannot believe how hypocrite some people are.The game box or cover list out what is included in the package but no one reads it and just buy blindly.Worst, some people know what is included in the different versions of the game way beforehand but decided to make a big fuss about it after buying the game, knowning that the version they bought was missing something they wanted

Look,be realistic, you cannot have everything. You win some, you lose some.Like for example,I wish that Heroes 3 and 4 were included in the European Deluxe Edition because these 2 newer games are definitely worth more than just 1 Heroes 2.BUT,i still went with the European version because I dearly wanted the stat card and decided to pay more just for it.

Please don't start flaming me by saying rich guy and all that, you get what you paid for.It is a necessary sacrifice.

Even in the regular version there should be PDF file(s) with the following:

    1. Creature stat card equivalent
    2. Castle Build Trees
    3. Detailed description of spells
    4. Detailed description of skills
    5. Detailed description of abilities [with tree]
    6. Detailed hero profiles
    7. More explanation of the leveling system [For example -- When are you offered 1 ability, 2 abilities, or no abilities during level up]
    8. Detailed castle profiles

Not publishing this information in a PDF is, at best, laziness. Not being able to download updates to the electronic manual [if you're registered] is pathetic.

I tried to find the European Version and would've bought it, but I couldn't.

Also, please don't post on my thread if you a just going to be obnoxious. Sure, you sound like "So Sweet" the way you phrased everything, but all you are doing is "flaming." I knew exactly what I was buying and bought it because it was my limited choice. I am a consumer trying to get in contact with a company and let them know of my disregard for their choices. If I ran a company, I would want to know.

In other words, go "Dear _____" someone else. You are the type of person I have NO desire to hear from what-so-ever. I would very happily agree to stay off your threads if you will mine.

Have nothing nice to say, don't say anything. This is an issue (I hope) that Ubi Soft will read.

I'm quite disappointed in your reply.

Do you expect all who read this to agree with you?Do you expect only UBISOFT staff to reply to this thread? You don't own this thread.Anyone who agree or disagrees with you is free to post in this thread.

I DID NOT call you names or pass judgement on your personal character? Why do you have to start by calling me names such as obnoxius and flaming when I am trying to be objective?

Please provide proof that I am flaming you before you accuse me.

Are you threatening me too?If I start a new thread of my own on this forum, what are you going to do?Please tell me,I'm interested in hearing what you are going to do.

I understand you had a limited choice but still, you had a choice.Buy it now for what it has or wait till someone makes enough noise to the point that Ubisoft repackages the American Limited Edition to include the creature stats card and then buy it.

Nothing nice to say? What do you expect all the people to tell you?"Yes,I agree with you.We demand that UBISOFT gives us the cvreature stat card!"?

What if UBISOFT tells you a negative reply too?Are you going to ask them to not post in this thread too and deem them obnoxius?

If you do not want people to offer their views and just want a direct action from the company,I suggest you email ubisoft directly and not have posted here in the first place.

When you said you tried to find,do you mean finding in retail stores in the US?If you did, yes,I agree that chances are slim for you to find the European version. If you are refering to online seraching, there are plenty of websites.Infact, the www.mightandmagicgame.com main website gives links to ordering both the American and European version. For example, http://shop.game.net/ViewProduct.asp...405&mid=328594

PS:I agree with King Alamar,a substitute of the creatures stat card should have been included.More explanations on the various of aspects would be extremely useful to newcomers of the game

BTW, why do the Vampire-Lords have a red sword on the creature cards. Is the *Creatures-Card-Edition* different?

Tend to agree with the original poster - though the tone of the missive is a tad... awkward

The creature stats, spells, skills and town-trees should have been included in a PDF in the "normal" version.

I fully understand that full colour prints cost money and that there will only be a hardcopy if you pay for it - though I am a little uncertain about the budget issue. Look at Civ4, the size of the manual then come back and tell us again about why a hardcopy warrants THAT much of money increase... but that's just me being a dutch penny-pincher perhaps.

Of course, the lack of techie game info like spell/skill info is adding to the general rushed-feel of the game when you pick up several nifty artifacts that have no description. hey cool! I got the Armour of Brilliant Amazement... err... whatever good it will do me.

No editor, a few SP maps, no PDFs of crucial game info, less than challenging AI, a lot of ingame info missing - it is a good thing the actual gameplay (of the campaign) is actually an improvement or this game would sail a maiden voyage that would make the Vasa's look like a decade-long-haul.

Man, why do I feel like ToEE all over suddenly?
