I have the above router and when I try to create a Multiplayer game my Ping is 9999.I can join a Multi game no problem.How can I cure this please?

i would say you need to do some portforwarding as your router probably has a hardware firewall, check out
http://www.portforward.com and look for your model of router, it gives you good step by step instructions on how to forward the right ports, im not sure what ports farcry uses so i cant help you there im afraid but i do have a router of my own and its a pain in the ***.

Look in the "Support" folder of your Far Cry installation and the dedicated server guide will tell you which ports to open.
