Sounds like you need to re-install the game.
I already tried repairing it and when that didnt work i completely uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Still does not work
After you un-installed (and before you re-installed) did you:
- delete the the Silent Hunter III folder in your Program Files folder?
- delete the SH3 folder in your My Documents folder?
yes i did
We need to know more about your system - CPU, RAM, graphics card, drivers, Windows version, DirectX version etc.
Also try running registry cleaning software before you try to install (delete any entries for SH3 in the registry).
