Awarding medals to crew men | Forums

Ok, here is a noobie question, I have only been playign this game for 3 days, and on my 4th patrol I realised I can give promotions, and medals to my crewmen. Since it does not give me enough medals for everyone, how do I determine which one should get them? I have no clue who did an excellent job or not, so I just handed them out randomly. Is there a way to tell who did well and who didn't?

My preference for giving out medals is to reward the most critical crew 1st.

You can also award medals/promotions via SH3 Cmdr at your discretion. You can also rename all your crew to whatever you want(Like Peter Griffin, Homer Simpson etc etc...). You can also assign them a specific work station, so they report to one specific department everytime, which in turn increases that crewmans experience in that field(Such as AA Gun, Deck Gun, Torpedo Room, or Maintenance)
