Im trying to setup dedicated server but im having some trouble.
Im using a router and ive set up these ports from a guide
7777 To 7787
8777 To 8787
6667 To 6667
40000 To 42000
80 to 80
THe error im having though is server did not respond, but i can connect using the local ip, eg 192.168.0.2 but the alowed ports seem correct.
however in the guide i used it says to put
serverbehindNAT=True in the server.ini, but this line is not in the server.ini
ive tried adding itbut i dont think this was right,
anyone got any ideas please? im using a full install of ravenshield US with patch 1.0>1.60

That is normal to have to connect to your server via ip when it's on the same netork as the computer you're playing on. Other people will be able to join it by clicking on it in the server list, but you will have to join by ip. Add the serverbehinNAT=True, because it will make a difference for people trying to connect to your server.

thanks for the reply, but ive just checked and it says Server registerd with ubi.com server master.
But its not displayed using ubi game service.
i added "serverbehindNAT=True" underneath Internetserver=true in the server.ini aswell.

Did you look in the 6 different Raven Shield lobbies on ubi? Can you see it just with the game browser? UBI tends to be somewhat buggy, so see if it is in the games browser instead of ubi.

no its not nin main game browser or ASE.
Im using a netgear DG824M and i forward the port setup like this i think its right but just incase hers a little capture, of course ive forwarded the other ports this is just a cut out.

Make sure your not "filtering" out game types.

Do you have any other firewalls enabled, like the windows xp firewall? I can't think of anything else.
