I have a Geforce 6200, would there be a big difference if I changed for 6800 Ultra( I hear so much good thing about it)

can anyone explain me a little bit the difference between these two?

The geforce 6200 is a low end graphic card,u won't be able to play on high settings, only on low with 800x600 resolution.

On the other hand, the geforce 6800 ultra is a high end graphic card.Moreover it is the best card available at the moment.With that monster,u'll have no limits in ur gaming experience, u'll be able to play on max settings and a resolution of 1600x1200 without any problem.

Geforce 6200 is what came in the pc. How much does a 6800 Ultra costs?
Is it possible to have some comparisons in specs for 6200 and 6800 ultra and maybe some pictures. 6800 ultra is an AGP8x?

if Geforce 6800 ultra is too expensive for what its worth, which card should I get? I wanna play SCCT and upcomming games on high resolutions and high settings

do it like me - have a great friend that has an 6800 ultra and make sure taht he wont need it no more, cuz hes goin to get a mythtvthingy.... then make sure he says to you "why wont we trade cards" and done

Geforce 6600 gt is the best mid-range card.

Its price put it the mid-range card but due to its performances, it is almost an high end card.

A 6800 ultra cost 500$ but a 6600gt cost only about 200.

So if u do not have 500$ to spend, go for the 6600 gt.

The 6600gt is like $180, maybe less if you shop around for a good deal.

The 6800gt is something like $280, again maybe less if you shop around.

If you want something to play things on high-res and all that, I highly recommend the 6800gt. It performs almost as well as the 6800 ultra, so it's a case of the increase in price not being proportional to the increase in performance. You'd be more than happy with that card.

Here (Belgium) it costs about 400 euros (450$).
