Thread: PS3 grouping is broken | Forums

This is the most ******ed online experience I have ever dealt with.It always breaks our groups up and puts us in separate games or we sit at 8/8 for 20mins before leaving. The "update" you did helped nothing...I am to the point I am gonna give up on this game and ubisoft for good, if you needed more then a year to create a half working multiplayer then you should of taken it. No instead put out a trash online interface. Fix this fast or you will lose people. Also it shows a qaurter of a million people play this yet we can hardly ever get a quick 8/8 game? I assume there is more issues behind the scenes your not able to solve because this is the WORST online gaming experience to date.

Agreed, I have so many friends inviting me to play but I gotta ignore them so i dont go through an hour of frustrating matchmaking for a 10 minute match

I only experience this when joining wanted matches. I have gotten placed with my group in the past, but most of the time I choose wanted modes, it will split us.

However, I've never been separated when going into alliance mode with a partner.

I agree that this is something that should be addressed. I think Ubisoft has seen the uproar since release. Frankly, they prioritized the infinite loading loops, and I haven't experienced that particular issue in the hours I've played since the patch. There are certainly a handful of others that take away from the matchmaking. I would submit a ticket so Ubi can keep track of stuff.

On a side note, you can join sessions pretty reliably. I've found that if my friend is in a session that isn't full, I'm almost always able to just go to the menu and choose join a friend. This would be tough with more than a player or two, but it's an alternative in the mean time.

Just another reason to stick with adv. wanted for now!
