Perhaps Ironside was taking a **** when they recorded it.
But seriously: letting 2 different offices make 2 complete different games what is SUPPOSED to be the same game for different platforms was a VERY BIG MISTAKE. PLEASE <b style="color:black;background-color:#a0ffff">UBI[/b] LEARN FROM THIS!!!

<b style="color:black;background-color:#a0ffff">Ubi[/b] did the same thing with GRAW but i think the 360 version did end up being better. hadnt heard much about xbox version of graw.

I haven't seen the regular box version, but the 360 version is pretty much entirely daytime assault. You're going through warzones with little place to hide and in broad daylight. You had more darkness and stealth in GRAW. I think they got hung up on the fact that the graphics don't look pretty when everything is so dark and decided to make everything fully lighted in a stealth game.
Shanghai was the only true splinter cell level in the entire game. Even then, it was very linear, like the original splinter cell. In DA there was often only one way to go and only one way to get something done, lacking Chaos theory's more open level design.
Further, the AI had a sort of spidey sense where they would turn on you as came behind them randomly even though you made no noise. Somehow they randomly just know you're there.
For single player, the game was very disappointing.

My experience is something like this..
big wide space with few enemies - boring, move along, big space but probably only one route to go - boring, no hidden routes, tricky bit, get seen, reload, try different route, get seen, reload, try different route, get past tricky bit, back to big wide space with few enemies - boring. This repeats until the mission ends and you sit there thinking "was that it?"
Plus, has anyone else noticed that certain guards are programmed by trigger points? For example, the guard next to the rocket, and the one near the detonator on the ice floe level.
I really don't like scripted things like this as it seems so completely false.
