Is this true, or am I just imagining things?
I installed vegas 2 played a bit, then remembered that I'd never bothered to finish Vegas.
So I reinstalled Vegas (don't ask about the trial THAT was) and I've been playing through that.
Today I loaded V2 and there were rewards waiting for me, and I had a higher rank than when I last played.
Does V2 check your progress in V1 and reward you? Or is something else going on?

I think it checks your registry for Vegas 1 files.
I'm not really certain, but I uninstalled Vegas 1 before I installed vegas 2 and got the rewards when I started the game.
I think it called me a returning Vet, or something.
As I recall the rewards and EXP I got weren't that much.
I would have appreciated a little bit more.
But bye all means a cool nice feature that they decided to put in the game.

Thanks for the reply
Yeah, that sounds more like it. It seems like a one time bonus, but pretty nice when you're not expecting it.
I got a higher rank (from the XP, I guess), some cargo pants and a tactical helmet.
