That would be expected, especially with the movie coming. BGE MOVIEAlthough it is not officially endorsed, I hear Ubisoft is interested in it.

Prince of Persia - The Farah Appreciation Thread
Come here! We need some appreciation for her!
A friend of mine in the UK told me about a similar story printed in the most recent copy of PCZone magazine. He said it's a reliable information source, and I trust him. I remain skeptical for the moment, but this is the most encouraging tidbit yet.
What reliable source? Mmmm...Tidbits.... Hahaha
Basically, he's saying that PCZone isn't the type of magazine to jump the gun and print a story simply for the sake of trying to be the first to report it. The validity of the claim isn't a slam dunk, but it's a safer bet.
Thats very nice to know. Could you post a digipic of the article if possible? That would be very nice! I sent a big email to NGC magazine telling them of Revolution and BGE Movie, with CG models and stuff, and it comes out tommorow, so I try to pick it up and see what inside and take pics for yoo ppl.
Ubisoft revealed its 2005-2006 product catalog today. Unfortunately, no mention of a sequel for BG&E:

Guys. This is looking grim...

Very grim indeed. Does this mean that its not going to be at E3? Or do you reckon their saving it for that? Hope, and send angry letters!
NGC Mag out tommorow, with Hopefully a big long email from me included!
Well, basically it's still the same situation as before, meaning that we don't know anything about the state of the BG&E franchise. However, take a look at the games that have been confirmed: Prince of Persia 3, Splinter Cell 4, Silent Hunter 4, Peter Jackson's King Kong (for just about every existing platform, including the next-generation consoles), a new chapter of Brother in Arms... Since they already confirmed SC 4 and PoP 3, you'd think they would also confirm BG&E 2 if they were working on it at this moment. Of course BG&E 2 wouldn't exactly reassure Ubisoft's shareholders, which could explain why it's not being announced just yet (though I'm afraid that's just wishful thinking).
Well, after seeing that, I think the only chance for us getting a sequel is after King Kong is completed. I don't think the team is that big that they can make King Kong (for all platforms!) and a new BG&E at the same time.
Although I don't think it;ll be @ E3, I'm certain a sequel is on it's way, one way or another.
