the voice command I use to get troops to enter transports often results in the troops saying "thats impossible". e.g I usually say unit x move unit y, where y is the transport. I know i can select the transport from the infantry, but it does waste time. Are there any other commands I can use?

I'd be interested in a voice command as well, due to the irreliability of the voice command I'm using i usually have to use the controller to load up my infantry which is quite a timesink in a firefight

Set your voice settings to standard. Then, let's say your infantry are Unit and transports are Unit 2. Then you would say "Unit 1 plus Unit 2 secure *enter destination*"

what if I want to srping a little surprise to my enemy.

Their gunships are approaching with tanks, and I want my engineers to get inside the transports so that they dont see my engineers.

Kind a like a bit wee ambush.

I know you can with teh A button, is there any other way to just have the infantry enter a transport without having them to somewhere?

Order your engineers to move to the transports and they will board but do nothing else unless the transports have other orders.

what do you mean order to move?

Just say "unit one move to unit 2"

of course unit one is the infantry, unit two is the transports?

Every time I do that exact thing they just move right next to the transports and dont get inside

It works for me, check to see if the voice command settings are on standard because that's the only reason i can think of.

Yeah the voice commands work perfect for me and works better with the PS3 headset that comes with the bundle but i say transports move to infantry so its faster since transports are faster than infantry.

Telling an infantry unit to "move to" a transport unit tells them to move to the transport and then board it.

Make sure the unit you are telling to move are the infantry.

ie Unit 1 (the infantry) move to Unit 2 (the transports)

Also be sure the transports are all there (no heavy casualties) and that they are not currently transporting something, busy, etc.

Works perfectly every time for me.
