Personally i wont buy from game, i cancelled the preorder. It leaves them open to try and cash in, whats next a free mp that other people round the world cant play?

So...you cancelled an order for a game because you found out they were giving you a free extra with it?
Um...I'm pre-ordering the thing anyway....doesn't affect me....but if I wasn't a GR fan, I would probably care less about getting a weapon for a pre-order.

From what I gather this is only in the UK. The U.S. version will most likely include the firearm or else all preorders will have it. Ubi has only commented on the UK. It looks to be a deal struck between Ubi and Game in the UK to add the gun in only for them.
I live in the US, but yeah anything for GRAW Online MP.
I'm proud to be an American.
In all seriousness though, I'd be pissed if I lived in the UK. Unless GRAW 2 is any different, Ubi's games are usually region free.
The more I think about it, it's never been stated (not that I've seen anyway) that this deal is MP or SP. I'm thinking it has to be SP for two reasons (and perhaps my logic is flawed, but go with me here):
1. People in GRAW 1 had to have the same content in order to play together.*
2. What happens if someone who actually has the FAMAS gets killed and drops their gun? Is it going to kick you to the dashboard to enter a redemption code when you try to pick it up?**
I'm thinking more and more it will be for the single player campaign. If you're like me, I'd be just fine with that.
*Gun could still be included on disc so that you could see it when others use it. That means buy a non-UK English version instead (if the deal is in fact UK only).
**If so, return game for a full refund as soon as possible.
