I've found -one- company that advertises hosting, and it's outrageously priced, at that. I mean -seriously- outrageously, and I'm used to paying a premium for good service--they charge more than my premium provider would if I asked them to get into FC2.

Theres an EU based one called "GamerServerLand" that are in the process of offering dedicated FC2 servers.
THe website is http://www.gameserverland.net/ however it appears to be under contruction at present.
Best bet is to contact Godswork on these forums as he was helping set the servers up last time I spoke to him. He should be able to tell you all you need to know.

you will find that gameserverland have provided farcry servers to the farcry 1 community for 5 years and has tons of expirience.
farcry 2 servers provided by them will continue with the same service that has always been provided. a reliable service with expirience

Well, I'm stateside, so I'd strongly prefer a stateside provider--or at least one with a presence in a datacentre here.
Regarding Defcon, is that defconservers.com? Because they list UT3 (which I'm also considering), but not FC2. If it's them, I'll call them up and talk pricing. I'd also feel pretty confident about the quality, as I've been playing on the Legion of Spartans server the last several days and it performs well.
