The first thing you should do is to backup your gamefiles.

What do you expect from a mod? The best way to decide which are the best is to look at their description for yourself. If you just want eyecandy you can install one of the several smokemods or skymods. If you want more you can look for the world mod for example but be warned as thoose big mods change a lot of things and you might not want all of the changes they produce.

    Hey..

The first thing i want is the woulnrability mod. Do i have to instal anything before this mod? (it says something like: For the recognition manual 1.0). That's rpbably the most important one. And i would like the ones that improve graphic. Textures and such.

    Wich ones do you propose?

The vulnerability mod just swaps the old pictures of the recognition manual for new ones. Usually a mod will contain a readme that will give you instructions.

the new vul manaual has been fine on my game. Go to subsim and install it.

Most of the mods on subsim have been tested and come with readme. The smoke one is fantastic.

Try the sky mod over at Silent HunterIII Modzone. When I finally got partially cloudy skies in my patrol, my mouth nearly hit the floor. Sunrises, and sunsets are particularly stunning. Just remember to back up the files that this mod changes, just in case. Although this mod was designed useing v1.2, it's working just fine for me useing v1.1.
