First of all..... They who REALLY love this game, stop reading now!!

What is this?!?! Just as the same crap you made before... an action based game, running in ONLY one direction? No free roaming? No exploration? No meeting with town people? No walking around checking stuff, or go to a bar or a saloon or a gunsmith? Just linear boooring action gameplay! I really spended money to buy the first game in this series, playing it til the end, still not really satisfied. All because of what I wrote in this memo. And now you guys are making THE SAME MISSTAKE AGAIN!?!?! This game could go to the really top, but now I wont even download it for free on a pirate site..... it is NOT WORTH IT!

Thanks for reading, and I am sorry if I offend any gamers who really love this kind of action, I am so sad that gamedevelopers cant take atleast one step foward when releasing a new game in the same genre..

It's a shooter, not a bloody wild west doll house. Same as CoD single player only this one has a great story. Wait for red dead redemption... that's an open world game, but this is not. Pure great action just like CoD - I love it.

And online is great.

So you're here to rant about a game that you aren't going to buy? You also sound suprised that this is a linear story driven shooter? You mentioned bad spelling but what about your ability to read previews, forum posts, and game details? It's fine not to like the game but don't rant about a game that falls outside the genre you enjoy. If you like games where you're interacting with civilians, and just sort of hanging out in a cyber environment try an RPG or MMO. Sorry if my response isn't what you want to hear but it sounds like you have issues with first person shooters in general... and this game has been billed as a shooter from the beginning.

Besides right now I am in a huge level where thomas is waiting for me at this watering station, where there is a gun merchant as well. On this HUGE level I can roam free on my horse, explore (already found some cash and secrets, a hidden mine etc.

On top of that there are some side missions on the wall at the gun merchant that I can do to earn more money for guns.

Very nice change of pace.

This game is about running in shooting the place up no wondering about the boring nothingness and mabye u can shoot a snake or two. mabye.

Yeah, I know this is a shooter. I have watched all videos, all screenshots almost all reviews from diffrent gaming sites (like game-testers). The only thing that makes me disapointed is that the beutiful enviroment of "Wild West" is not taken to the next level of gameplay.... I LOVE FPS games, and RPG's too, but I was almost sure that this "prequel" or "sequel" (whatever you like to call it), were going to be a open-ended-game. Just like a GTA-based game. Where you can interact with a HUGE game-area, and have a storyline to follow. And choose by yourself if you want to do sidequests, or just take a breather from the main storyline. That is what I reacted on when checking out the game on the net, and reading peoples comments.

Too bad that this game with its AWSOME graphics and action-play and the Wild West scene, is to be linear.

I hope you guys understand my "sadness" over this issue....

Well now I will wait for the PC-version of: "Red Dead Redemption"!!! This game is EXACTLY what I was trying to say before with my post in this forum. A game (wild west theme), with open-ended world (a big one i guess from the info), with MANY ways to play it (outlaw, goodguy, free roaming, quest based, action packed in a open world). The crap I wrote before (I really did not wanted to offend any gameplayers out there), was just because I was "bitter" that UBI made this pre/sequel just like the first game. A linear story, without a chance to "take one step back" and enjoy the wild west theme. Rockstar changed all of that with:

RDR will be a game I will buy! So I am not trying to look down on you real-gamers out there, I was only angry on UBI (who makes alot of cool games by the way), for not taking "Call Of Juarez", to the next level....
