Ok so i saw the new artwork of Ezio in his new gear and noticed some sort of cube on his chest. I recall seeing this aswel on the Masyaf flag in AC 1. Is there a specific meaning linked to it or are we going to learn why it's there or is it just pure decoration ??
I think it's just the symbol of the Masyaf castle.

It's a Companion Cube. No matter where you walk,run,free run/parkour, kill, it's always there on your robes
it looks apple of eden-y, so that might be a thing.
It's all over the castle in AC1. My best guess is that it resembles the apple of eden, or something like that. It shares the style, at least.

If you replay AC1 you'll notice that all the cities have weird symbols on the map under or above their names. That square is nothing more than the symbol of Masyaf... I think...
So Lync, you think AC3 will be in Ancient Egypt... you're on!
I'm gonna go with the companion cube theory.
