Thread: Operation Bodenplatte Special! 6 Luftwaffe Skins! | Forums

    Bodenplatte Special!

On this day in 1945, the Luftwaffe launched their last major offensive in the west: Operation Bodenplatte. Designed to destroy the Allied airforces on the ground, it proved incredibly costly for the Luftwaffe, losing experienced pilots and large numbers of machines that the German industry couldn't replace.

I've skinned one example for each of the main types taking part in Operation Bodenplatte (with the exception of the Bf 109G-10, which I've searched very hard for. Any photos, please email me! )

So, there are skins for the Bf 109G-14, Bf 109K-4, Fw 190A-8, Fw 190F-8, Fw 190D-9 and the Me 262A-2a

Enjoy! And why not download Serval's P-51 Bodenplatte set, just for the full effect

I never went into the air thinking I would lose.

    Beautiful.

Especially RLM 84 looks good, but it is not often present even of late war LW skins. Were there any Fw 190A with RLM 84 ? I know a lot of Doras had it, but even more 109s did so.

    Keep up the good work.

    Exquisite, cannon, just exquisite.

Serval and I have been communicating. Just to let you know, there will be a Bodenplate Server map were these and Serval's Blue nosed P51's can be flown.
