Hey, I just saw this article on IGN Germany that has a video and some concept art in it that shows Assassins Creed in an early stage of development, when it was still part of the PoP Franchise and called "Prince of Persia - Assassins" and the assassin was just ment to be the bodyguard of the prince.
I thought it looked interesting and wanted to share it with you =)

Funnily enough, that's what this thread was talking about.

Hello everyone
I have been away from the forums quite a while , So I have read some random pages and I cannot see any news![]()
Can anyone tell me that there is at least one "fresh" rumor ?
I don't think that the sales are the main reason for this delay ,
The 2008 game sold 2.2 million as of January 2009 while Rayman Origins sold nearly 1.3 million only and It is getting a sequel sooner than I expected O_o

Hey did you visit the LB group ?
Just a random update: I saw some more comments for the first time in years and there are STILL people out there who 1: Think the new Prince is supposed to be the same guy from Sands of Time, and 2: Think that at the end of the game you end the world and that's it....It's like a contest to see who can remain ignorant the longest. XD
If you have 10 minutes to spare read these..could be important

I've had high hopes for Ubisoft Toronto since they started it.I've always liked the idea that they might have moved the Prince of Persia sequel project over there so they can dedicate more time and energy to it. Of course now that the news seems to be out about BG&E 2, it seems like thier mystery project could be that and PoP is still with Montreal. If Montreal can bring out a good PoP sequel soon after AC3 I'll be pretty impressed with their capacity for making games.
