Lots in it....some brilliant, some not so, but it's still in development so wont be the finished article, but it does look good (apart from the periscope view!!!)

Still some effects seem missing like volumetric light scatering (real time god rays).
That is the most interesting video that I have seen so far. Does anyone know how old it is, meaning how far in development?
Also does this use the same 3D engine as SH3? It looks like a lot of work was done to it.
1m 46sec in when the merchant is hit and explodes, I was hoping for better break up, the front masts fell off the deck onblock as one piece then a second later the 2nd masts also did the same. Looked to have come away as 1 piece on both just looked dated.
Water looks very good, especially the wake from the sub, not mad about the small periscope view though, hoped it would be a much larger view, anyways impresed all the same.
